recently i have been quite ONS for bc rich guitars . i totally love Bich and Mockingbird . the sad part is they are kinda overpriced

sesetengah orang kena tempah khas untuk ini semua
mungkin saiz semua same je

i beg to differ.i was talking about the price kan,so for me where an instrument is made in is always 'the' issue in pricing.in china,indonesia etc the natural and human resources are of course cheaper than us,japan etc.thats why guitar manufacturers make instruments there in the 1st place.for example,instead of mahogany,esp uses agathis,the cheaper solution.and the most jkadnsflkn thing,if a guitar is manufactured in indonesia,then we as a real close neighbour should get it cheaper la here!some reasons to have the price reaally lowered.
and then the perception and satisfaction.whenever we usha2 guitars,our perception when we see a 'made in usa' is usually a highly positive one,and we wouldnt really think about the price,which is always tinggi nak mampos la.but when we see a china made instrument,the thought is usually like,'ala low quality la@ape cite harge mahal tapi china blabla'.sebab pemikiran logiknye handcrafts china tak sebaik us.and when we do buy the china made one,is the satisfaction similar to the usa made?of course la not babeh..in marketing theory,perception and satisfaction are vital to pricing so another 2 reasons why they ought to lower the price somemore..
memangla,company tu akan cakap 'barang tu buat kat china,tapi inspected kat us' blabla.pastu,'eventhough its an indon-made,quality tinggi maa'.'kite company beso,name beso,harge pon beso la'.'ini artis pakai ni wei,dont play2 aa'.tu yang dikatakan beli brand/prestige,tapi bile dah tulih situ made in china,dan sebab2 di atas dipertimbangkan tak ke dah cacat prestige brand tu?dan rase2 yang artis pakai tu btul2 dibuat kat china punye ke?harhar..mungkin tidak..dah tu turunkaanla harga lagiik setann!cume termasuk dalam brand ni customer service die..so pastikan la..
you mentioned about quality.well,that really is an aftersale finding.we cannot really tell if an instrument is of high or low-quality until weve actually owned it.memanglah,bleh test ape sume tapi lepas dah bli mane tau bile neck tetibe retak,takde bunyi,berasap salah wiring ape sume kan?risiko bile kite bli barang la kan..kite rase berkualiti dari segi specs ape sume,tapi bile dah bli..
aku tau aku dah merapu ni.bukan ape,aku pnah gak ade ltd,dan aku tak rase apape spesial pon selain shape&brandnye,tu pon kurang pasal ltd je.harge lak..mak aih.indon-made,cheaper wood,hardware lebih kurang tak puas hati la kan.and bile aku compare ngan jackson japan-made,kayu lagik mahal,hardware lagik lengkap dan cume tambah rm300 aku rase bangang lak bli ltd tu.gile overpriced..memangla die nak buat profit,tapi agak2la..die strip down everything from the price to the specs yet the price is still not worthy..tu je..
so harapan aku cume esp turunkanla harge ltd tu at least untuk 50's bawah rm1000 cam gio,200's lak janganla lebih rm2000 sangat..memangla esp tak dengo pon rintihan hati aku ni tapi aku rase lega la dapat meluahkan ape yang terbuku dalam hati..cewahh!only my 2c's though..now bek tu de topik!

mungkin same juga dengan kes Ibanez GIO
kat luar baru $129.95 (x3.8 = baru RM493.81)
kat sini RM9++.++
kat situ dah untung lebih kurang RM400.00
US pun import dari kilang negara yang sama (andaian)
Ni baru beginners punya gitar
Kedai kat US jual $129.95 (RM493.81) pun dah boleh untung
Kat sini hampir double beb
Betulkan aku kalau aku salah |

i agree with sangap
i wouldn't judge too quick before i test them (unless they look really ugly)
actually i am quite impressed with the ibanez new SA model (made in indonesia) it almost felt like a korean made..
and i am sure some korean monster guitar can match the american made (Dillion , schecter , peavey)
as for China made.so far the best i saw was those ibanez artcore,the ibanez gio SZ was cool too.any others ?

well, aku still dgn pendapat aku. as long as dier berkualiti, x kisah blanja lebih. POD aku pun china made, bunyi ngam jerk  barang2 PC aku byk china made, ok jerk.
aku byk survey bender2 mcm nie, byk dgr pendapat user LTD/ibanez/gibby dll, so i know lah. the LTD400 mmg baik eventho korean made. yg LTD250 nie mmg la baik, cumer body wood jer... dari segi features ok, cume body wood.
oh yes, peception... itu penting. tapi kita nie kene buang sifat memandang rendah terhadap sesuatu. asal china made, korang pk barang xder kualiti. xleh mcm tuh. skang nie bukan zaman 80 an dlu, ok? tapi tu lah, pandangan org nie mmg sukar utk dibendung. xleh nak kater aper lah, jgn la bli kerana nak show off kat member2. "weh, gtr nie US made nie weh, ko ader ker?"<-- screw that.
btul ker US made nie sumer berkualiti? aku penah tgk gibby US headstock patah, uuuu, berkualiti sungguh for a 12K guitar, hahaha. baik bli china made, kalo patah pun, xder rasa nyesal sgt, wekeke. kekadang tu diorg jual nama U.S made jerk, heheheheh! dah la, malas bebel lebih, aku pun byk ngarut gak
