Hallo guys,
Nak tanya advice. I have a semi-acoustic big bodied Epiphone Sheraton (like the Epiphone Casino ala John Lennon in Let It Be), but I'm never happy with my Bridge pickup, macam hampeh bila compared dgn the Neck pickup yg creamy dan lazat berkrim......
So pendek cerita nak tukar. Apa pick-up korang rekemen as a good replacement? I always dgr this 'Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge' mentioned in Guitar World, but tu selalunya untuk Les Paul and not untuk hollow bodied guitars. Was also thinking having a P-90, tapi takut bunyi cacat kalau bridge is P-90 and neck is humbucker.
Advice highly appreciated. Thanks. |

aku rasa SD JB tu terlalu heavy utk epi ko, cube usha pickup lain yg mid output, jgn ambik high output...
slalunyer kat laman web pickup ader pickup finder, bender nie menolong ko mencari pickup yg sesuai utk ko. laman web dimarzio dan SD ader, cuba usha
www.dimarzio.com
aku cuba pakai pickup finder kat dimarzio, virtual hot paf nampak sesuai dgn ko... |

apa problem dgn sound bridge pickup tu.. elaborate sikit.. too trebly ke too weak of output ker.. no dinamic ker..
kalau dpt record sikit sound dia pun lagi bagus.. record bunyi neck pickup dan bridge pickup dgn setting yg sama.. (kalau ada kemudahan la) _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |

naturally neck PU mmg sound die lazat berkrim...
tp aku 2nd izzi punye suggestion, kasi sound clip sket, kalo ade gambo lagih baguih...
kasi chuchi sama itu mata...
but kalo nak tukar PU, go for economic but high quality stuff, like Kent Armstrong - not available locally.... _________________ "Jean Claude Van Damme is back. In the same crap you've seen over and over, and over again"

Basically the output dia lah kurengggggg uuuuummmmpppphhhh!!!!!! (I guess maksudnya kurang dynamic lah)
The output of the neck pick-up is louder and more creamier.
I always use either both pickups or only the neck pick-up, itu yg nak tukar the bridge pickup supaya ada some trebly parts.
Ni gambar dia my simple set-up. Epiphone Sheraton, 1980's Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer & Vox Pathfinder 15 watts amp....barulah 1960's Brit Invasion hahahahahahahahha

cuba tinggikan sikit pikup belakang dan rendahkan sikit pickup depan .. tp jgn terlalu byk takut kurang sensitivity.. juat utk balancekan output dia.. _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |

Dah tinggikan pickup belakang tu, sometimes kena push down pasal dia touching the strings, but masih lagik hampeh.
Kalau pick-up retro ni, besides Dimarzio Virtual PAF, what kind of bridge pickups would you rekemen from Gibson ataupun Seymour Duncan? |
