I just dug up some more recordings from Pengganas Gila sessions...and this is the very last one I did.. ..I just wish i could play faster hehehehehehe... Tell me what you think...i think this was the very last one I recorded in that session...

| The song is representative of your latest material's styles...though this one ventures further into the unknown with far more adventurous experimentation with more complex time signatures and sometimes almost dissonant sounding chords to evoke that dreamy and nightmarish vibe...there are melodic lead guitar lines there as well, simple but intense and effective, which adds more weight to the musical message.... |

Pengganas Terakhir... Orait.. camne nak citer ha? lagu ni sesuai buat outro kot.. starting yg melodic cam style2 guitar hero, pastu ending berubah mood menjadi ganas... no wonder laa title dia jadi "pengganas terakhir"! selebih nye telah dihuraikan oleh doc Bode... hehehe
By the way Ridzi, Pengganas Gila Session ade berapa lagu? Bole ko list kan? For your info, aku ade collection of all yer songs yg kau pernah upload (semua sekali ada 15 lagu) hahaha... so aku nak arrange balik, yg mana zaman "Pengganas Gila", yg mana session2 baru... lagu2 kau yg baru2 ni (lepas PG session) best gile babi... bagi aku, lebih mature laa.. aku nak burn kat cd buat dengar kat dlm kereta hahaha.. bole ke? don't worry aku tak distribute kat org lain.. just for personal listening pleasure!

Pengganas Gila tu banyak part...berpuluh2 part...basically lagu tu adalah satu lagu yang maha panjang 45-55 minit kalau tak salah aku.... nantila... masalah nye these days aku takde masa sangat...plus aku punya komp tengah takde monitor ni...POD aku mati....bila masanya aku nak siapkan.... entah le....aku pun masih lagi tulis part2 baru untuk dia...kadang2 aku rasa lagu Pengganas Gila sessions tu takkan berakhir akakakaka........

ko dengar la sound empat lagu atas ni ngan sound PG sessions...lain sgt2...yang heavy gilababi sound dia PG session....

Sebenarnya aku sekarang ni sambil2 practice scales tu aku tengah develop a new sound. Lain sangat-sangat. This new sound hanya akan complete dengan adanya solo dari Dr Bode. So basically you guys can expect ROCK KANGKANG with a breath of fresh air....
I figured it out on how to do this Net Jam thingy..
Buat masa sekarang aku tengah record atas 4 track tape recorder aku...ahaks aku terlupa yang aku ade lagi Tascam aku akakaka...so maknanya aku back to basics la hehehe
semalam aku dah beli blank tapes....aku tengah draw up daily schedule ni so aku tak lari focus. Bagi aku tulis lagu ni aku kena focus sikit...kalau aku tak buat jadual, memang tak berkesudahan la jawabnye...macam PG session la...
Aku pun tak tau kenapa aku boleh tak teringat pasal Tascam aku...dah terlampau bergantung pada PC hehehe .....apa la bangap aku ni??
So minggu depan Isnin aku akan start record balik riff2 terbaru aku. Pre-production la ni. Bode, I need you to help me write the tunes. I will talk to you further on this. Now I have to get a proper metronome alamak...duit lagi..... selalu nye aku pakai metronome PC.
As for drumtracks.... We can get MetalSkeletor to do the drum programming. Because he has exactly the same set-up as mine. I will supply him with the BPM and stuff....
As for keyboards and atmospherics, Deadzid itu department engko. Pandai2 la ko buat nanti.
Hopefully by the time we have all the components of the song together i will have a god forsaken monitor and I will mix it for release.
Ok i need to de-magnetise my Tascam recorder, kemas bilik aku, kemas baju because my darling baby is flying over tomorrow.

Wwwwait...that Tascam 4 track of yours is what model? Is it standard speed or high speed? Because my Tascam is dead and I cant re-master some of my previous works without starting from scratch again...
My workload is getting worse as we speak...but just throw the stuff at me still...at least we can get something started...albeit slowly, but as long things are moving...
I'm dying to go back to heavy shit man... |

Bode its the MiniStudio Porta02 MkII model. as pictured below. I need to check the manual on the net because im not sure what speed it is... I think its normal speed lemme check first aaahhh??

The tape speed is 1 7/8 in./sec (4.76 cm/sec)
is that the speed of normal tape players??  ...im not too sure on that lah!!

Ahhh yes, that is normal tape speed...

Aku memang lebih berminat dgn 4 lagu tersebut (skema lak)... tapi sound wise, aku rasa 4 lagu tu sound dia lagi heavy! music tak seganas PG session la tapi...

Lestats Dead Girl Oh thanks for the review dude!...sorry for the late reply.i havent been online or checkin the forum as often as i used to due to college assignments.yeah..abit satriani-ish vibe is true.. im a big fan of jeff beck as well.i really like those indianish scales..especially those in-between notes(what are those called again? the notes between a natural and a flat/? the kind of notes u can only get with a fretless or something..)anyways yeah im still a super beginner..still learning how to tap properly.im more of a "listen and play by ear' person as oppose to musical theories..if u asked me to press an F# on the guitar i wouldnt have a clue where to begin haha! i wish i knew more tho.i had a crash course last year on theory... and man starting from scratch is hard.i must say the tips on i-bands have helped alot especially the ones from omar.
oh yeah adding delay to it was cool...but hmm i was wondering about satrianis setting on his wah.im not sure what it is...theres this signature sound that he has that i want to mix with jeff becks workings on the tremolo on "Nadia"...
i just noticed how unsmooth my playing was..very rusty on the fingering and plucking..any good examples of songs that i could refer to and practice? arabic...eastern styles...thanks again bode :)
