this 1 i am not sure didn't really notice it..
but i know Musicman Axis and OLP Axis have a different neck profile..
my guess is ..it is almost the same..not exactly

Hmmm, i'd like to clarify something, just in case...
Musicman Axis & OLP Axis r nothing like an EVH Musicman. The EVH Musicman came out just a few years before it was discountinued & replaced by the current Axis series. Most notable differences r the neck profile, bridge & the pickups...
The Musicman Axis & OLP Axis have different neck profile. The OLP uses a v-shape, u Clapton fans will like it, but personally i think its btw a boat profile & the V profile. But i think the OLP Petrucci is somehow more exclusive; theres an add of him with the guitar, his signature on the headstock, so for him to approve of it, i guess the specs must be close enuff like the real thing...
But u cant tell unless u've tried the original EBMM, hehe...

rikiraikkonen,im afraid i cant answer your dimension question,since id never really cared for dimensions before hehe..i only look at price,basic specs and playability..in which the OLP doesnt really match my preferences IMHO..
one thing i agree,theyre nothing like the musicmans..i tried one and was greatly impressed by it..so now i can safely say that ive lost all interest in OLPs,unless theres a cheap 2nd hand available la..and btw the lowest price theyre willing to give is rm1400,dunno about the official dealer la..cheers

Back to the OLP thing...
For the OLP Petrucci , w/ohc, kira ok lah dgn harge tu, ohc mau dah Rm300-400, plus the neck is pretty fast, it could be a bargain la kot, since the real thing mahal giler, hehe...

hohoho..you are right dude..i bought mine for 1200+ USD..and i saw another EVH Musicman Axis for a F*cking crazy ass price 2900 USD  didn't even dare to tried it
anyway..Rikiraikonnen..you have to order from Bentley and wait.if i am not mistaken it is around 8k before discount ..

wah, 8K jerk eh... teringin la plak nak bli EBMM JPM model 7 strings... siap kaler leh tukar2 tuh, wooooo 
but aku lagi suka ibanez JPM nyer design... still available ker eh? ader tu aku tgk, bebudak buat makeup guitar corak mcm JPM, mcmana dier buat eh? cam best jerk... |

Whoa...for USD 2900, thats pretty steep, considering there was one in jamtank a while ago for much, much less than that. If i had enuff cash back then, i'd have bought it...
8k before discount is a good price man, considering a Jem nowadays is more than 10k...

bukan ko sorang bai..aku pon semenjak incik rikiraikkonen revivekan thread ni interest aku pon smakin reviving heh.oh ye,haritu aku gi js music diorang bleh kasik rm1350 klau tawar ala kadar.tapi skang takde stok,so tak dapat aku nak test buat kali ke-6 haritu keke.tunggu la sbulan due..

| Apa lagi.. meh la ramai2 beli lepas tu bagi opinion apa yang perlu di modkan.. aku rasa nak upgrade tuner ada masaalah skit pasal dia 4-2, biasa jual inline 6 or 3+3. Takkan nak beli 2 set. Trem dia standard fulcrum trem ke, proprietary punya (macam Petrucci EBMM)?. |

Aku dah survey.. locking tuner bole beli kat warmoth, dia jual satu-satu. Alang2 dah beli kat situ bole beli PU kat situ sekali harung.. bole ke OLP petrucci ni kalau aku nak pakai Wilkinson trem..
Nak beli version EBMM mahal sangat. Kalau dah cecah RM8000 ++, financial controller mesti bole perasan kehilangan dana yang begitu besar.. at least OLP + mod, cincai kira dalam RM2500 - RM3000. Pas tu bole boleh staggered plak tu..
For my case, it's either EBMM petrucci or OLP petrucci. Ibanez ka cort ka fender ka, apa ka tak minat..
