Remember the SH-101, the Juno-60 and Jupiter-8? Those were the classics, some old time favorite! Now, Roland introduced the SH-201, the babe you are going to fall head over heels in love with. It comes with Roland's ever famous Supersaw waveform, resonant filter, saturation control and more.
Some may call the front panel hideous looking but I think we are looking at functionality and not just the looks, yeah! The array of knobs and button will let you (musicians and just pure enthusiast) have the time of your life with the super-fast tactile-experience.
The key features:
1. Great-sounding analog-modeling synth
2. Ultra-EZ front panel is logically designed to teach the basics of synthesis
3. External input for manipulating external audio from CD/MP3 players, etc
4. Built-in delay, reverb, and saturation effects
5. Arpeggiator adds instant rhythmic motion to sounds
6. USB port for audio/MIDI connection to computer
7. VSTi Editor software included for computer integration
8. Invisible infrared D Beam controller
By the way, this is supposedly an affordable piece of instrument! _________________ Music echos in Eternity! |

I am not too sure - it sounds about there. My guess is that it should almost be the same price range as Juno-D. I could be wrong.
Probably, you can give the guys at Roland Asia Pacific a call (+60378053263). I am sure they will be more than happy to assist you on this matter.
Cheers
Anyway, if you are interested in the SH-201, please mark in your calender the 30th of May 2006 for the Roland Band Event. One of the products featured is the Roland SH-201 and it will be played by the prominent producer, Tatsuya Nishiwaki.
