waha.. nicely done.. takyah netjam pun takper. dah cukup cun dah. tambah bassline ngan vocal.. tuh jer... maybe ade sikit slack kat solo. mcm out of tempo. nevertherless.. my suggestion is.. make this song available public.. so sesapa yg teringin nk join boleh add fill sendiri.. also u should host the project file.. if ure using cubase.. share sumer file project lagu tuh.. in that case.. kalau rasa mana nk kuatkan mana nk slow.. mana nk pan boleh buat sendiri... kire tk limited kepada previous work.. bole evolve and so on.. of coz they're gonna consume some space.. but i'm sure the webmaster wouldnt mind.. kire part of i-bands independent project.. boleh tambah special link ( dedicated page)

Yeah instead of guitar parts from me, I think, why don't we scrap this idea and actually put vocals and bass playing instead (as suggested by lupalak) on the netjam tunes? I'm afraid I won't be able to make the song any better. In fact lupalak himself can lay down the vocals and bass playing, and I'm sure he will do a great job! Very Happy

lupalak that's a great idea.
i can setup an FTP account (shared users) for those involved in this project. I believe u guys need to upload the wav files for the audios and the cubase project file.. right? how much space do u think we need for this? i need to do some calculations. Razz just give me a rough estimation.

the finished work of this netjam project will have a special place here in the community forum since it is a collaboration between u guys here (apart from being in the music/band list).

lets do this!

hehe saya tak terrer bass lah abg bode apatah lagi nak menyanyi.. nak create melody bole la kot.. then kasi org lain nyanyi...

GrymLock..
about the estimation, i'm not really sure. Ridzi should be answering this coz only God and he know how many tracks he has on the songs... probably not more than 100mb per song? just guessing...

yeah lets do this... i like netjam 2 coz it has the ride-on-a-fast-car rhythm.

Wait...wait.....

I could upload the cubase project file...but listen, there are a few problems here...

a) Not everyone has Cubase, not everyone has the same VST's that I use. (Battery) and even if you did have Battery, you wont have the drumd samples that I use. so if i do upload the project file...you wont have a drum track.

b) The whole process of this netjam is simple. Play what ever you think would fit the song...record it in paralell to the song then upload the mp3 of the track e.g bassline here for me to download.

c) Once I download the part...i will load it up in my Cubase...I'll do the editing, and I'll do the mixing.

So there you go...I want to keep it simple. It's not a bad idea to upload the project file to an FTP, but it will require too much space off the server and it will be a mess to organise... It's easier for me to be the single point of contact.

hmm true as well. I'd asked one of my friend on the net for his point of views on this matter, and he suggested almost the same thing.

anyway Ridzi, i-bands NetJam is your baby. Just let me know if u need anything else (selain dari duit dan harta keduniaan heheh)

btw, I've already created the netjam account under your supervision.

OK

I need a volunteer to record the bass guitar. Syarat2nye...it has to be a dry bass recording... A little compression would be ok...
