Memorise the sound of the scale, then just go berserk with it and jam!!! All the fingering will fall into place....dunno la...that's how I do it...of course I'm sure there's a better way...but I dunno about that!
Important to memorise the sound and feel of the scale, not the shape...because once you memorise the sound and feel, shape is not important anymore. |

that's true..hafal lah scale itu dari segi bunyi nya...try to go few octaves up and down...skipping the strings
err itu jelah buat masa ni..

maybe bode was talking bout shapes as in patterns that u'll get from scales..and all pattern are moveable up and down the neck meaning if you have major pattern that u always use , u can transpose to other keys by merely moving the pattern up and down the neck...itu one of the advantages of guitar compared to piano la..
