Rock The World 7 is here!

Rockers all around Malaysia need not wait anymore for the announcement for the Rock The World series which is into its 7th instalment this year. Rock the World 7 will be held on the 16th of December and at an outfield next to Stadium Merdeka (that's what Hamka from Disagree mentioned).
This year, there will be 48 bands playing and these bands range from all kinds of rock genres. There will also be 3 stages ie. The Up & Coming stage, The Indie Stage and The Main Stage. Pop Shuvit will be performing at RTW7 and has decided to play all new songs to give the crowd a pre-listening session to the upcoming Malaysian release of the new album 'Amped & Dangerous' in February 2007.
Tickets will probably be at RM20 with some goodies, but that will be confirmed soon when the flyers are out.

Pop Shuvit - MET10 Best Rock Act & Best Live Act

Pop Shuvit has been nominated for the Best Rock and Best Live Act categories in the MET 10 awards.
The award show will be held on the 10th of December at RUUMS, Kuala Lumpur.
Please vote for us by typing in VOTE ROCK 1 or VOTE LIVE 1 and send to 32111.
Voting starts 6th November.

Pop Shuvit is awarded Commitment award at Kancil AIR Awards

Pop Shuvit has been honoured a Commitment award by the KANCIL AIR AWARDS. The Kancil AIR (Anugerah Industri Radio) awards awarded Pop Shuvit with an award that commemorates the commitment Pop Shuvit has given in the music industry and also their active participation in the radio industry.
Before Pop Shuvit was awarded the award, they presented two songs, 'Block Party' and 'Journey' which won the crowd over. The award was then presented to a stunned Pop Shuvit. They feel very honoured to be awarded with such an award.
There are more things to come for Pop Shuvit as the band will be releasing their Rock Album (Amped & Dangerous) at Rock The World 7 with a treat that fans will not want to miss. The album will be sold at a limited amount so it is currently the only place it can be bought at the moment. So get your asses there and buy the album. Dec 16th, Rock the World and Amped & Dangerous launch.

We're back!

Ok..long time no see 
Anyway, we have been so busy that we have only been able to concentrate on the Myspace account cos lotsa stuff has been going on there. We almost have 10000 fans there and counting. We just got back from Penang after a trip from Kuching a fortnight ago. We met a lot of people that have been asking us about our album and truly, we can say that yes, we will be releasing it at Rock The World 7.
We put in a lot of work to the album cover, design and the songs. And it's going to retail at RM15. We hope you guys are going to dig it cos the album cover is crazy (courtesy of John H.D. of Nervewreck)!

This weekend, we will be doing the Junk Launch at Zouk on Friday Nite. And on Sunday, we will be at Ruums for the MET10 Awards where we have been nominated for Best Rock Act and Best Live Act. We hope that the sms have been going through for us. Even if we dont win anything, we still have big big big plans for next year. We ain't gonna tell yet, but seriously, lots of interesting things to come.
Just want to shout out to the Kuching and Penang boys and gals we met. Lotsa luv.

Pop Shuvit - Best Live Act 2006

Thanks to you all, we bagged the BEST LIVE ACT award for 2006 at the MET10 awards. Last year we won the BEST ROCK ACT and having bagged BEST LIVE ACT this year makes it all even sweeter...
Anyway, tomorrow is RTW7. We will be playing a whole different set. All new songs, and using new gear with new sounds. We will be selling our albums so watch out for it at the merchandise booth. Its cheap BUT It's gonna knock your knickers and socks off. It's all about the music this time so dont give a f**king excuse not to buy it
Cu all there tomorrow. We will have pics up once Rudy is free next week. Till then...hope u all enjoy the show! We're on at 530pm. So be there early or be square.

RTW 7 has concluded and we had a lot of fun performing at the mainstage. The crowd was the best crowd we have ever played for. They were jumping to all the new songs. We just hope that none were hurt in the mosh pits. Here are some pics in our gallery.

Meanwhile, we manage to sell a lot of cd's. Close to 300 cd's were sold in 5 hours. Thanks for buying. Hope you all will enjoy it ; and please give us feedback on the songs, to tell us if you like them or not.
Next up, the new year countdown gig at One Utama. This one is free so come down and see us live again at 1am. Before that we will be playing at Laundry bar at around 10pm. So, head down there too. For those wanting to get our cd's please come and get it off us. It's worth every cent.

Amped & Dangerous Tour in Japan -March 2007

We're kicking off this year by heading down to Japan again in conjunction with our 3rd album release 'AMPED & DANGEROUS'. The dates are March 2-4 and we'll be in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Its going to be a hell of ride. Wish us all the best. Heres the flyer!
