Setelah hampir berminggu buat reseach utk PC based project studio aku... berkotak2 rokok abis... sampai lupa dunia heheheh.... aku still tak pasti approch mana yg lagi best... tapi yg pasti aku tak minat dgn DI approch... tah aku dengar sound dia mcm tak pure.. (aku rasa la, aku tau korang rasa lain heheh). Sini aku ada listedkan skit brg... Otai2 semua tlg bg komen kebaikan - keburukan kepala jadahan setup aku ni.. Tolong la aku pilih salah satu.. Aku buntu mcm nak mati ( tipu ajer) heheh...
Aku nak record gitar (dr amp + accoustic)/bass/keyboard/voc T by Track
1. Mic (Shure SM57 / Studio Project C1) --> Breakout Box (Gina3G) --> PC [Aku jatuh cinta dgn setup ini : simple]
2. Mic (Shure SM57 / Studio Project C1) --> Mixer (Behringer UB series) --> SoundCard (ESI Maya44) --> PC
3. Mic (Shure SM57 / Studio Project C1) --> Preamp (Studio Project VTB-1) --> SoundCard (ESI Maya44) --> PC |

Producer, Sound Engineer, Artiste from Pop Shuvit is sounds really good. But Mawi? No offense, Mawi is OK [I have nothing against him ] but do you really think including him in your promo will really turn on your target market? It may be work for some Instant Mee company but .. hey it a prosumer like product you trying to sell here right and not some ultra cheap everyday karaoke mic. Plus I really don't think that Mawi cares about any technical specification your mic carry. Does he help to setup the big studio you mention earlier? I don't think so... I suggest the one that should endorse your product is the one who write + records music for a living eg M.Nasir, Azmeer etc. and not some new face in this long dull industry.
Since your product bearing the Taming Sari name which I think it is a Malaysian product... I do hope your company will keep on growing offering Malaysian music maker community affordable range of product that we all can use and be proud of... Your promo may turn off me a bit ... but I'm still gonna give that mic of yours an audition
Sorry, I can't help it
Pyan
p/s: I'm still waiting for that comment on my setup before I make my super duper ultra extra final decision. |

Kasumie/Pyan,
Thanks for your reply and we are extremely grateful for your consideration.
Pop Shuvit is a great sounding band with excellent skills. They surely know what they are talking about.
Regarding MAWI, for your personal information, it is the BIG TIME producers and sound engineers that is working in his upcoming album. BIG BUDGET album for a BIG STAR. They are the ones responsible for choosing TAMING SARI. It is a special album this time, you might have read about it, a duet of old hits with several excellent singers such as HATTAN to name a few.
Once again thank you for your comments and suggestions. Feel free to contribute more ideas.
Salam and Regards.

Dear Okta/Teoh,
We understand your tight schedule and whenever you find that extra time, just give Mr Razif (Ajeep) a call and he will be more than happy to let you have one for testing. We also know that you are a very skillful engineer/musician. Your input will be much appreciated.
Please do make a mic test and share your findings with us here.
Regards.
