Ok...aku ada soalan utk Cubase SX users. Kalau ko pakai VST plug-in cam Amplitube in real time, do you have the choice to choose whether the recorded sound is WITH the Amplitube processing or WITHOUT?
I'm using Samplitude 7 Professional and very happy with it, tapi teringin pulak nak menyundal pakai Cubase SX 2.0. |

Mmg boleh pilih doc.
Afterall,the recorded sound when using VST or DirectX plugins in real time will always be the clean signal tone from the guitar.(that is if the input signal is clean)
So,kalu nak dengar the processed sound lepas dah record,just check some button,kalu tak nak dengar,uncheck some button.

Suicide..hang pakai Sonar kan?
Ok...another thing, bila ko pakai Amplitube in real time, do you activate Amplitube tu dalam mixer of that track ker...and if that is the case, ko letak pre or post fader?...or ko letak kat aux?
If you dont have to utilise mixer utk pakai Amplitube in real time(if that is possible lar), how do you do it in Cubase/Sonar?

Yup...i'm using sonar 3 but i osso have other softwares at my disposal.
emmm..pasal guna plugins in real time tu.....sama jek for both sonar and cubase.
Amplitube guna realtime?Biasa letak kat track yg nak record je.Lepas tu activate "direct monitoring" button.That's all.
tak pernah letak kat aux bus,effects send bus/etc.
Im not so sure about the last question doc.....but I was made to understand the prodigy soundcard from audiotrak (http://www.audiotrak.net) can host VST plugins.So in this case,you dun even need to have Cubase/Sonar/etc in order to play amplitube in real time.
Yah....welcome to the digital world........So powerful.... it's frightening.

nak tumpang tanya cikit!!!!! soundcard yg better is what? ada cadangan tak? aku ngan mencari soundcard yg sesuai la!!!! tapi apa yg ada dlm kepala aku is creative audigy yg external. korang rasa yg 2 bleh tak?

as ridzi and other discuss..get m-audio card/interface will cost you extra around RM150-200 of sound blaster audigy card.

Weh suicide...bila hang pakai Amplitube...ko ada delay tak bile ko on kan monitor button dia...i noticed there like half a second latency bila aku pkai amplitube... and im not sure how to rectify this...
Aku ade gak main-main ngan ASIO driver aku...tapi makin teruk plak jadinye..

oh lama sungguh tak masuk....bz skeet....sbb kakak aku kawin.
oret,now back to your question Ridzi,emmm...semua 'software direct monitoring' mesti ader latency.benda biasa tu.....
Aku punya built in soundcard nie pelik jugak.. boleh plak support asio2....
delay tu mmg ader, tapi extremely low ...aku rasa a few miliseconds kot.
Sekarang aku pakai amplitube direct X version.
Dulu2 aku ader gak try pakai amplitube VST ngan Cubase guna soundblaster live(guna KX driver).Paling rendah aku boleh dpt 2 miliseconds ,if im not mistaken.Kalu set below 2 milisecaonds...terus crash system..akakakaka.
TApi dgn setup sekarang,( Sonar3 + amplitube dx version + nvidia nforce 2 chipset)...aku kira puas hati la..... sementara nak kumpul duit beli fireweire 410.

akum guys.....
aku dah masalah ngan sound card? aku nak beli audigy but aku nak tau bape line input (4 or 2). sory aku baru nak berkecimpung dlm making own home studio. I need help from u guys..... lagi˛ aku dgr ada cikgu dlm ni!!!!!
