Dulu kat DoReMi ade jual this really small connector for stompboxes, pendek giler. Bende tu x de cable langsung pon, dia actually 1/4 inch plug welded to another 1/4 inch plug. So i used a few of those, biler susun all the pedals in one row, blh stomp 3 pedals serentak, big achievment tu, hehe...
Cheers... |
Itu 1/4 inch mono jack ada jual kat Woh Fatt juga. I sudah beli 3. Tapi masih kena guna cable biasa jika hendak connect ke pedal yang input jacknya kat atas pedal macam Big Muff, Danelectro... _________________ :: My FX Collection ::

i got an idea...
why dont we invent a shoe / sandal / add-outsole on with a massive big tapak (outsole) that could be used to stomp 7 pedals at once?....hehe...janji jgn rupa macam clown Ronald Mcdonald cukup...
then suruh ler boss ke, behringer ke endorse kasut/tapak ni with collaboration dgn bata, jimmy choo, adidas or nike...next Winter collection boleh masuk fashion magazine siot...
but guys, jgn copy idea ni tau...ni patent idea aku...haha |

bro - how much is the 1/4 mono jack?
and from the list of your rig - I guess you need something to make sure u can stomp lotsa pedals at once right? |

Yin...
I bought mine like years ago, for arnd Rm3 to Rm7 kot. Dah lame x pakai pedal, so dont know ho much now. Like jtangsw said, if u have different brands of pedal, still kena pakai short cables, sbb bende tu kena pakai dgn pedal of the same brand je, i.e Boss dgn Boss. Sbb bende tu mcm stick la, kalo connect dgn pedal lain brand, jack dia x allign, so boleh senget...
Good idea of the extended shoe/sole thing, but kalo nak stomp 1 pedal je...mcm ne?

'Head butt' jer that pedal
I think it will look cool onstage...a guitarist headbutting single pedals while wearing HUGE Ronald Mcdonald shoes.
Image yg 'original'...even kalah Buckethead.
Anyway...ni ada re-post ada satu post aku kat jamtank:
Cool thing about having a coupla pedals(less than 3 or 4):
1. Simple to set up.
2. No programming headaches.
3. Easy to tweak around with the guitar tone. No programming knowledge and thick manual shit required.
4. Great for gigs where you play tunes belonging to pretty much the same genre. e.g. a rock gig/an acoustic unplugged set...
5. No backbraking experience lugging around tons of rack gear (assuming that you already have many rack mounted stuff...but just a few rack mounted units is still quite portable)
Cool thing about having multi-effects:
1. You can get drastic changes in the tone with just a step on the foot controller. Imagine...changing from a chorused, reverbed and delayed, clean and bright sound to a dark, thick, high gain, raw distorted tone usually needs a few steps on a few pedals plus re-adjusting the amp tone controls. This is only possible with multi efx.
When I was using pedals, I usually have one great sound but an 'ok' or 'so-so' other sounds...say A great overdrive tone but kinda muddy clean tone.
2. You get to do the headache programming at home and when you finally turn up for the gig, what you need is just some minor tweaks on the amp before kicking off playing. And you can switch from a Mariah Carey ballad to a Megadeth tune with just one step on the foot controller to change the tone.
3. If you're playing sessions in the studio or live, it will be cool to already have a whole bank of different guitar sounds to cater for every imaginable genre. Your clients/producers/music director wouldnt have the patience to wait for a guitarist to take time to switch sounds/find the right tone. Some of them needs the work to be done FAST (a lot of my solos in studio sessions were recorded when I was warming up...they dont even give you the chance to warm up!)
One tip is...once you have more than 6 pedals in your rig, then you most probably need to consider getting a multi efx unit.
Pedals and multi efx...one is not better than the other...it depends on your specific needs for that particular gig.
Some gigs I bring everything.
Some gigs I just bring 1 or 2 pedals. |

Headbutt? Hehe...
1st its the McDonald's shoe, lps ni kena ade org invent headgear pakai nak headbutt pedals only...
I think guitarist will spend a lot more on special shoes & headgear than guitar gears, hehe...

why dont get a small "batang"/ bar kinda thing.
imagine like placing a pencil that you can put across the pedals,
so lets say that if you place the bar across 3 pedals,
then just step on the middle pedal and all 3 pedals will engage/disengage simultaneously.
but limited to pedals that are of the same housing design.
boss and behringers will work hand in hand. _________________ "Jean Claude Van Damme is back. In the same crap you've seen over and over, and over again"

eric - yeah...that batang sounds cool...apalaga korang, buat ler design batang2 tu,

hehe the downside of the idea....
anyhow just attach the batang to only one pedal.
eg. solder to only one pedal, so the other pedals will not be attached to the rod but only have it protruding above it. so you are free to step on the 2 pedals freely, but will have a problem if you only want to step on the 1 pedal that has the batang soldered to it.
hehe....live wit the pros and cons of it la...
life's a bitch aint it.... _________________ "Jean Claude Van Damme is back. In the same crap you've seen over and over, and over again"

Itu 1/4 mono jack RM7-8 kat Woh Fatt (kalau tak salah). Very useful if you want to line up your effects in a row... works very well for BOSS, Digitech, and even Behringer. But problem with my EHX pedals...
If you want to switch to other pedals (set A <--> set B), I recommend BOSS Line Selector LS-2
cheers... _________________ :: My FX Collection ::
