the arguments.....
yeah at first back then i thought COF was goth... but as i met friends who actually showed me the difference between goth and melodic death metal..
pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.................. tell me what is the difference between goth music and cof style of music

Musically, COF definitely not goth, it more towards melodic death metal etc..the Cure, of course goth. Refer to the Cure provious album (before yr 2000) such as Wish, Disintegration etc. Robert Smith did it long time ago in songs like Picture Of You, From Edge Of The Deep Green Sea & Lullaby.

dunno about those commercial goth bands / music.. tapi kalau gothic music in metal aku tau la...
seingat aku, the concept was first introduced by the british band - Paradise Lost..
Their album "Gothic" says it all.. although some might argue saying that their concept at that time was more into doom metal..
Goth music relates to dark stuff, hence the birth of gothic black metal, gothic doom metal, etc..
dlm scene metal ni, yg aku tengok trend dia, asal ada vocalist pompuan je, band tu terus dilabel sbg gothic band..
example: Within Temptation, (early) Lacuna Coil, The Sins Of Thy Beloved (gothic black), etc..
not sure about Cradle Of Filth, tapi kalau tak salah aku, depa ni black metal, kan?
selain tu, dlm dunia fashion pun ada gak konsep goth ni hehe...

Yup, I'd always assumed Smith's goth factor stopped at Disintegration and Wish. Albums after that seemed rather pop. Bloodflowers was a dip back into the goth pool.

In the late 80's there was crossover genre: Industrial Goth.
Metal-Goth and all the variations seem to have evolved from Industrial-Goth ...since Industrial seems to have morphed into Metal sometimes in the mid 90's. |

hahah...btl tu...masa hr sukan sekolah aku bulan lepas pn lebih kurang benda yg sama jd...kat blkg aku ada la beberapa bdk dok sembang...nk p jamm.punya la kalut dok tny spa nk men gitar,sapa nk men bass...tgk rupa mcm genh2 emo,screamo...ada yg pakai celak...last2 aku terdengar la diorang ni sebut: "aku dh lama praktis ni,x sabar nk jamm...keunggulan cinta...dari sinar mata...yg menerima..."
aku rasa korang mst cam kot lirik lagu sapa... |

for real life... i saw one kid dress up quite 'MCR'ish.. with all those unbalance hair cutting.. and guess what.. his a FAGGOT... tipah tertipu muahahaha... baru je ingat nak tarik masuk band... cancel...
