Hmm.. great idea. Except that its still winter in Japan average 6deg Celsius. Don't want to catch pneunonia. Otherwise Dr Bode will have to come along

The Unknown Apparel store will be up soon. Right now we have only enabled the STORE function as a catalogue, meaning you will be able to browse only at the top right menu. The cart functions will be up soon when we get all the full designs up. Designs are done by JOHN HD while printing is by ZERO HOUR.

Wes Borland in KL for Yamaha Asian Beat 2007

Wes Borland was recently in town and we managed to catch up with him. There were many insights that we had gained from him especially of his exploits in the US during his stint as Limp Bizkit's guitarist. He now has a new band called Black Light Burns. They sound amazing, and you should go check them out...www.myspace.com/blacklightburns.
We managed to bring him out to see the sights in KL. He saw the KLCC tower, Batu Caves (Bat Caves as he called them..hehe) , tried Tom Yam, tasted Banana Leaf Rice in Bangsar and also dropped by the local watering holes in Bangsar and The Curve. There wasn’t much time but we hoped we made his visit count. The next time he comes down, it will be more of a holiday and we’ll show more of Malaysia to him.
In summary, Wes was very much an accommodating and selfless person, always wanting to please the crowd. He also explained why Limp didn’t work , ie. he and Fred couldn’t get along and there was no possible way for them to work together in the future. He is also a painter and you can check out some of his work on myspace. All in all….he was a rocker at heart with much experience in the USA music scene, but that has not made him forget his roots as a musician and a human being. Truly a great person.

Channel V recently put up an interview with the band at their AMP website. Here it is:
Heavyweights on the Malaysian independent scene, Pop Shuvit have been ploughing their own musical path somewhere between hip hop, rock and metal - and doing a darn fine job of it too. Having just returend from their Amped & Dangerous tour of Japan, singer Moots! took some time out to answer some of our Q's, with additional input from drummer Rudy.

This is the latest music video from Pop Shuvit which was Directed and Produced by a Swedish group of professionals that we will acknowledge in a later post. They did a marvelous job. Kudos guys and girls! The song used is 'Set You On Fire' which is one of our faves from the Amped & Dangerous albums. Last night also was the premiere of our latest single 'Freakshow' from our upcoming hip hop mash up album. The album is currently untitled but we have lots of ideas in mind, just got to start picking which would suit best. The album would include many collaborations and one special one which is not to be named yet . The collaboration is one of the most well known hip hop rap groups in the past 2 decades and have worked with groups like Rage Against The Machine (for example) . We'll let you know who it is once we have confirmed everything and when the album is ready to be received by the public.
