ooo itu macam ka? betul jugak... mana la tau kot2 one day aku dah bosan main gitar, nak main keyboard pulak kan?? heheh... pasni ajeep takleh carik makan aa...!
so ko suggest beli audiocard yg ada MIDI port ke atau tak payah MIDI port (mcm diagram kat atas tu)? ke hantam saja lahh ...? hehe

wehh lagu2 metal sekarang ni mostly banyak pakai feel keyboard / synth ooo.. take Evergrey for example (lagu A Touch Of Blessing)... chord guitar dia palm mute E je, tapi keyboard yg kasi fill...
tapi dulu masa zaman rock dulu2, aku mmg menyampah kalau band yg ada keyboard ni.. heheh

betul tu jeep... aku yg main pakai keyboard komputer ni pon rasa mcm dah terrer giler main keyboard... aku boleh main + record lagu Barney "I Love You" utk anak aku hehe suka giler dia! siap ada drum lagi (version metal)
pastu berebut plak dgn anak aku.. kecah betul la idraki ni...!

midi controller = keyboard ... itu yang paling simple...
untuk kuarkan bunyi... kite perlukan vsti aka synth...

BTW,can u put some picture of adobe auditon 2.0 interface?if i'm not mistaken adobe have bought the COOL AUDIO company(i don know their names!!)kinda interested wit a.a 2.0.  hopefully its have same features of cool audio. |

mende tu plug-in dalam recording software.
Contohnya kalau ko nak main drum, boleh guna midi controller untuk main drum. Midi signal daripada controller ko akan dihantar pada VST tersebut untuk trigger bunyi2 kick, cymbal etc. |

erm... let me try to explain (i'm not so pro at this myself)
i think VST is basically a way to trigger your samples (maybe a piano keys)
basically it is one of the technologies that enables your midi or other recording hardware to communicate w the software
from wiki:
Virtual Studio Technology and its acronym VST refer to an interface standard for connecting audio synthesizer and effect plugins to audio editors and hard-disk recording systems and also giving the plugins a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for easy manipulation

vst = virtual studio technology = Fx plugin, like chorus,comp,delay,reverb,waves, ...etc,, macam laa gadjet2 gitar yg ur pakai.. cuma vsti nih dalam pc,,hihihi
vsti = virtual studio technology instrument = synth, (sampler player like kontak2, kompakt, intakt, steirnberg halion, tascam gigastudio, ikmultimedia sampletank), etc...(VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT) instrument alam maya dlm pc,.hihihihi katakan ur nak bunyi sitar,.. ur just programing dgn midi sama ade manual guna midi mapping, midi score or ur use midi keyboard (hardware),... vsti tadi akan replace bunyi midi yg tak natural tuh kepada bunyi sitar betul,, bergantung laa ur nak pakai sampler dari mana2 company pon,.. sampler terlalu banyak kat luar sana hehehe ...
