Bukan nak pikir untung sangat pun, tapi kalo ko dah kelua kos 10 thousand grand.Kalo tak bole cover modal dan carik profit sikit utk next coming project atau cover cost lain camne?Nak ikut trend atau klon pun belum tentu gak sebab skang ni dah terlalu banyak sumber hiburan. Peminat dah tak macam zaman Rock 80an mula berkembang dulu.
Mrk dah mula bijak memilih sebab dah terdedah ngan mcm² info. Lagipun stesyen radio percuma dah banyak, siaran Tv pun dah banyak. Tuu tak kira bab permainan lain cam game, sukan, handphone (yg dah ada multi- function use), internet dan lain². Kos hidup pun makin meningkat, so budget utk diorang berhibur pun terpaksa kena limit. |

I used to hang around at the music shops, Dada and Roxy, everytime I go to Singapore in the 90s. Not sure whether they're still around. They had pretty good Singaporean/International underground stuff |

| yeahh right... rock music in malaysia has been 'double standard' nowadays. I miss those 80's glam rock and early 90's 'rock kapak' music act in malaysia... sedih siot apa yg berlaku kat scene malaysia sekarang.. muzik muzik bersolo dah kurang.. kalau ada pon yg x kompleks mcm rock rock dulu... dress up mcm tu pon mcm dah x de kat malaysia... aku mmg suka lagu lagu yg spesis glam rock ala ala Twisted sister ni... so sbg pengubat rindu aku byk mendengar band band rock jepun yg sememangnyaa stay sampai sekarang berimej rock berambut panjang, lady-look, rock kental, solo rabak.. perghh salute beb.. contohnya mcm Loudness, X-Japan, Siam Shade, Dir En Grey, The Band Apart, Moi Dix Mois, Blood, Phantasmagoria, Plastic Tree, Luna Sea, Pierrot, Hyde (ex-vox l'arc-en-ciel), Hide (ex-guitarist x-japan), L'Arc-en-Ciel, Ellegarden, Janne Da Arc, Melt Banana (japanese noise!), Boredoms (japanese noise!), Malize Mizer, D'espairRay, Acid Android, Tetsu69, Creature's Creature, La'Cryma Christi, Candy Spook Theater, Gilgamesh, Buck Tick, Baroque, Belive In Style (Bis), Merry ahhhh byk giler.... tapi betul laa tu... rock music kat malaysia makin lama makin slow makin lemah gemalai, kalau ikutkan... sepatutnya muzik rock malaysia makin berkembang dari indonesia ini tidak... sbbnya mentality, penerimaan masyarakat, government yg suka campur tangan, pihak media sendiri, dan aku pon x tau laa lagi apa sebabnya... muzik rock mainstream malaysia dah jadi makin lemau... sekarang ni masyarakat malaysia ni.. kalau dah tgk org berambut panjang pon mcm tgk diorang mcm apa je... mcm ada slack je... kenapa mcm tu??? |

yup.. EVOLUTION...
not just rock.. even metal pon ada evolusi sendiri..
dulu era 70's ada band mcm Black Sabbath, etc..
then era 80's ada Iron Maiden, ada thrash metal..
pastu in the 90's ada Death Metal, Black, Doom, etc...
then the new millennium ada metalcore! heheh..
metalcore tu ada la a few bands yg aku bleh layan..
Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Unearth..
yg lain2 tu hmmpphh?? 
music sampingan yg aku dok layan skarang:
80's - 90's Glam Rock la! hahahah...

pandangan peribadi..
pada aku rock/metal ni mesti dtg ngan satu pakej.. elemen2 basic mesti xkurang.. so apa pun cabang dia.. sound dia ada asasnya tone/dist.. dress.. elemen2 lama etc2.. walaupun deathmetal ke, speed ke, progressif ke...
kalau ada "umat2 baru" yg konon2 nak campur2 itu ini dan wat unsur baru dan trend baru, janji jgn lari dari basic.. kalau yg dah lari mcm LINKIN..., LIMP... , SLIPK... for me they just meant for business and they're bunch sh*t of core+rap+glam+MTV's person yg ruins originality.. pastu wat trends dan blah.... they label themself as "METAL"... shame on u...
tgk sabbath ke.. led zep ke, blackmore ke Dio ke..... maiden etc.. depa kekal kerana rootnya yang tebal.. |

I try to be simple: pada aku music ROCK kat negara kita betul2 jadi kuda tunggangan.. masa muzik rock "flourish" dulu2, banyak halangan.. rambut panjang tak boleh, konsert selalu je ter-cenderung untuk kena batal, radio tak nak siar kan rock yang "heavy" sikit(pada pendapat depa la... Iron Maiden dianggap tahap neraka, langsung tak keluar radio tapi after Metallica buat Nothing Else Matters baru ok sikit la) . Lepas tu rock kat sini terus jadi malap dengan polisi syarikat rakaman fokus kepada konsep "killer song" - satu lagu hit sudah cukup, yang lain2 tu mampus tak apa.. lagi teruk, killer song tu dah macam disyaratkan pulak sebagai wajib tangkap leleh..... plucking2...plucking, drum beat sebatu sekali ketok, vokal kalau boleh tarik tinggi dalam nada kelayuan paling sedih yang hang boleh buat ...ishhh... ish..
Fast forward ke depan, bila musim muzik2 genre lain jadi lebih hangat, radio cepat2 buangkan rock...ah.. leganya.. kalau boleh tak de langsung takpe.. then muzik2 yang hidup atas dasar "bad Science"(yang ni malas aku nak ulaskan) tapi
senang cakap, muzik yang 200% asal dicipta adalah semata-mata bermotifkan duit la.. muzik jenis ni tak akan tahan lama.. then foward lagi, jadi la macam sekarang ni, banyak orang kata industri muzik nak bankrap... bla.. bla... then semua orang mencari2, tercari2 formula untuk menghangatkan balik radio dengan satu trend muzik... depa2 ni pun cuba menunggang-kuda kan muzik rock balik... kerana rock music never dies, rock music have a very broad listeners base... bla .. bla..macam nak tarik balik attention listeners ke radio yang ada iklan ni, kena pakai muzik rock... tapi tu pun rock kena wujud dalam segmen, "rock it" la... :rock selamba la... itu la ini la.. KENAPA perlu wujud dalam segmen? kenapa lagu hip hop murahan, pop, lain tak perlu segmen? kenapa muzik rock kena kuarantin sebegitu rupa? kenapa.? KENAPAAAAAAA...
aku malas nak tulis pepanjang, korang sambung ....

pakai leather , chains..itu semua bermula ngan judas priest yg di mana singer rob tu secretly pegi gay bondage store kat London Soho (cos he's gay) and start wearing those chain and leathers on stage pastu skrg dah jadi uniform band2 metal yg di ikut2 oleh band2 lain?
so next time korang rasa nak jadi tough pakai besi2..pikir2 la dulu dari mana idea tu datang hahaha...
kinda ironic kan..hahaha

kite pun ade lagi..cuma perlu di ketengahkan aje..MAY/LEFTHANDED/WINGS/SEARCH.. still belum pupus..
anyway SEURIEUS is coming to k.l this month..and guess saper nak bwk diorang pusing town??
