Gua nak cari satu tapi harge bagai nak rak!! Delay nie mengikut review orang2 bukan semua suka ngan bunyi dia..
Bunyi Delay tape echo tu ler gua suka betul bunyi analog ade sound muddy sikit tak macam digital tajam!

Hmm i'm not sure bout pedals, but usually in vintage guitars if you leave the axe untouch you get a better value than a mod one..
I've checked that keeley and analogman mods are more expensive than the usual pedals? why is this so? can anyone explain to me?
I don't mod but relic my stuff only.. _________________ "Have you ever danced wit the devil in the pale moon light?" |

Quote: | cosmo dan his analog adventure, ha ha ha! penin' oh penin'! 4 trimpots cukup gile kan nak setting.... btw, aku dah tukar configuration, got to get slim delay la... carl martin delayla dan red repeats ok kot? yet to be tested la bro... dm 2 dan dm 3 tak semuanya sedap, that crackle repeat tone tu annoying, izzi bilang itu bunyi motosikal pakcik zainal. length wise ko tarik, the stronger the crackle. dia ada frequency sama macam chorus, tak bole over atau kurang.. dia pun ada gain, kalau lebih, dia akan distort. tak kira how you trim, get the frequency that lessing the crackle 1st. then trim to fit, get the repaets at standard margin dulu. muddy is another different thing... enjio trimming bro... ha ha ha ha! |
- aku punrasa dia punya range delay time better di pendekkan memandangkan aku bukan main long delay.
- gain pun dah alter bagi bunyi feedback tu tak ler over menonjol berbanding bunyi asal.
- aku try listen to the noisy dan bunyi ringing pada feedback. Bunyi ringing macam piston block longar.
Malam ne sambong, maybe dapat dengar berbezaan. maybe malam ne aku nak bandingkan dengan DD3 mod aku... hehheheheh. DD3 tu ada analog simulation. _________________ Maiden, loudness, ACDC, black sabath, deep purple, jimmi and vinnie moore

Generally,..
We're paying for the labour cost, that is the cost per hour to do a professional job done by a professional.
Keeley & Analogman usually changes different components in the part to ensure that it achieves the desirable tone of what the user wanted, or what they think is good. Modding a pedal just by changing certain resistors or chips is way too simple compared to what they do, because they need to have the ears and know-how to tune the pedals.
One more thing, usually pedal modders don't guarantee whether the end result will sound good or not, as long they've done what they're told to. But Keeley & Analogman do! |

You guys gonna get a kick out of this :
this is the view of a 1978 batch #7700 DS-1 board..
view of the long chip the TA7136AP..
view of the silver screw.
I was lucky enough to get the early batch made on the first year production..(my thanks to 62Jaguar) Its with the clear switch and momentary LED.. I found it a bit hard to solo in and out.. cause I'm so used to the switch bein on all the time.. but got used to it after bout half an hour..
I did the A/B test with a my other MIT Ds-1..
The MIJ version has a better midrange (tat's what my friend said) I prefer it because the sound is not so scratchy like the MIT..
The MIJ version also does give a slight body to the overall tone not thin like the MIT version..
only a slight difference but its evident.. unlike the DS-2 MIJ which is very evident..
My thanks to Ishibashi they did a great job shipping and packaging.. Very high standards.. It all came thru as promised.. they bubble wrap everything.. _________________ "Have you ever danced wit the devil in the pale moon light?" |

Quote: | fretted cosmo,
1) crackle feedback
2) dog whistle
boing2, sure ko tak tido malamnye.... ha ha ha ha!
woof! |
Aku ambik cuti satu hari pasal nak tengok ocean13... hhahahahha
Sebenarnya selain dari 2 tu ada masalah lain.
1) distort low note feedback
2) distort high note feedback
3) noise bila volume high.
4) bunyi tin milo kosong pada feedback
5) increase delay time akan kuar crackle
6) increase feedback gain n respone akan kuar whistle anjing hahhaha
7) pot sctratch... sembo wd40 karang ne.
So aku buat beberapa mod.
- acually somthing bout high cut utk delay ne
- still mencarik original schematic utk study the circuit.
pengajaran aku dapat
- ada pedal vintage pun tak menyelesaikan masalah.
- still have to alter beberapa pekara tok jadikan ia lebih sempurna.
- maybe because aku ne jenis bukan beli pedal utk dijual balik dan tak kisah harga naik or turun asalkan dapat tahu the problem dan cara penyelasaiannya.
- wow, now aku dah fikir macam sorang programmer walo pun hanya tweak pedal... hahhaahhaah hobi dah campo dgn kerja... nooooooo.

- somtime lebih complex dari itu.
- bout knowlage n teknology n kesabaran.

Slow gear and spectrum? very over the top price ler... I'd settle for the CS-1 silver screw and the space-d.. don't know about the Power driver? made in taiwan...
Gonna slow down on the pedals a bit.. till i get more cash.. gassing for a vintage deluxe reverb or maybe if I dare the twin reverb.. ha ha.. slowly but surely man one of this days.. just a few more items before I closed shop on collecting..
Axes? I'm gassing for a jazzmaster and 70's styled strat.. the strat i'd probably "satanize" it by relic... found a new way to relic- "broken pickup covers"..spray with light acids then dry under the sun, then break the parts where you pick down.. neck pick up covers should have more breaks than the bridge ones.. awesome..!!!
How? dare to do? _________________ "Have you ever danced wit the devil in the pale moon light?" |

Aku tak ada DM2 n 3 tapi aku ader DD3.
SO aku bandingkan AD-9 vintage vs DD3.
_________________ Maiden, loudness, ACDC, black sabath, deep purple, jimmi and vinnie moore

Gua tak minat sangat sound dd3 bile delay time lama.. ade clicking sound dan bunyi dia digitize sangat...
_________________ "Have you ever danced wit the devil in the pale moon light?" |

Satan:
wah,od-1,ds-1 ss...mana beli?...drool.nak cari ce-1?for use or investment?
apa lagi vintage pedal encik Satan ada?
I think about analog and digital delay,it depends on type of music played and taste.with analog giving organic, natural sweet repeats and digital giving crisp, precise repeats, both got individual applicationla.
Regarding dm-2,my opinion is theres a strong character of its own,not that transparent compared to a maxon ad-999.But i like dia simple, sweet and nice, very good, straight forward vintage sounding delay.Think i agree with browndog on the crackle n settings though.
