The folks at i-bands are now busy planning the first official get-together/music showcase which will be held at KL Jam Asia from 8pm on Sept. 7, 2007.
Eight bands/artists with original music on the site will be "handpicked" to perform at the party which will possibly climax with a free-for-all jam session (just bring your axe & FX tools!).
We're working on a dress theme -- Denim Rules! , Leather Rocks! or something -- and hope to use the event as a launchpad for rejuvenating i-bands.net.
There'll probably be a cover charge -- we'll try to keep it below RM20 -- and despite our zero budget, we're working to find a way to provide free bites and some interesting door gifts (CDs, etc).
