Hmm...not much luck dis days. Guess i've to try again...
HI! I'm a 29 yrs old Chinese guitarist/vocalist. n we r looking 4 a BASSIST and LEAD GUITARIST for our band. so far, our band is onli 2 piece. Both of us r chinese also but we onli listen to eng songs. My fren is da drummer.
As for your info, we're not super-duper pros, we just wan2 find sama waveline members to jam wit us. Who knows, we might come out wit a simple demo . err, also i can reach quite high pitch voice something like Chris Cornell/ZAck De la roca standard ( me kenot growl guys, sori)but now slack abit coz of no practice. but in time, i can get back in form...ahaha
Anyway, We're a POST-GRUNGE/ALTERNATIVE band...so our main influences...emmm.....wer to start:
Main influences:
AIC, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Velvet revolver, A Perfect Circle, Army of Anyone, RATM, RHChili Peppers, Incubus, Smashing Pumpkins, Collective Soul, etc
Old skool and other genres:
Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, GnR, MEGADETH!, MEtalicca, Jimi Hendrix, Weezer, U2, REM..etc
HArder stuff:
Sepultura, White Zombie, a bit of PAntera
Personal fav:
DREAM THEATER! john petrucci, G3 and MEGADETH,etc....
