Ive been thinking about these two...im really am new in guitar world...can any experts help me out here?
Ive made some surveys and i am thinking about taking either of these two..
LC 30 II (Laney Amp)
MG 30 DFX (Marshall Amp)

I think most people will choose marshall. I tried laney a few month back. and has a nice, solid and decend tone too. I will go for laney an get something different!!! Even marshall amps are good and popular.... but too common la...

ya...sya rasa Laney sound lbih ok...aku chek history amp..Laney dah lama dah...tapi tak pasti sma ada betul ke x...anyways...i still need more comment...aku nak dptkn sst yang ble puaskan nafsu sound aku...  |

IMO cant compare between solidstate and tube amp(laney)..like comparing heaven and earth

The tube vs solid state debate and comparison has been going on for decades and books can be written over it.
Tube overdrive/distortion is known for its warmth/ballsy character when compared to solid state BUT, digital modelling nowadays has improved so much in emulating tube type tones that you should give it a try because it brings nice guitar tones to the reach of the musician with a tight budget. In fact, the late Dimebag Darrel used the solid state Randall amp to get his monster guitar tone...and I dont think affordability is an issue for him.
Amp Laney LC 30 tu sound memang classic tube tone, tapi utk dapatkan sound high gain utk genre metal dia tak berapa sesuai dan memerlukan dist/overdrive pedal.
Amp Marshall MG 30 DFX pulak memang lebih fleksibel dan boleh mengeluarkan berbagai jenis tone utk music style pop, jazz, hard rock, alternative, metal dan sebagainya. Amp ini pun mempunyai efx2 yg telah 'built in', jadi boleh digunakan tanpa perlu bergantung kpd efx pedal.
The best thing to do is to bring your guitar and try both and decide which between the two that YOU like.

Tambahan, Marshall MG30 tu jauh lebih murah dari Laney LC30. LC30 tu kategori lain punya amp. Amp laney yg layak dibandingkan dgn MG30 ialah LX35 http://www.laney.co.uk/show_prod.php?prod=lx35 dan LG35.

| hmm...kategori? maksud tue,... tube ngan solid state ka? 2 jenis ni beza dr segi apa? umm... kalu... MG 30DFX tue lebih kurng brapa harga? |

I'm planning to get Laney LG35R but don't have idea how much does it cost here in M'sia. This amp looks cool to me and I believe the sound is btter than MXD series!(to suit my taste).. love the clean sound.
