| anyone know how to memorize the fret easiesttt way worked on u guys! |

What you do is draw the whole fretboard and put in all the notes of each and every position. Initially in corresponding positions and eventually at random. You do this until you stop making mistakes, meaning you can straightaway identify a note correctly if someone point a position on the fretboard.

Pada awal awal main guitar dulu. Aku hanya hafal note pada string 6 dan lima sahaja. Of cause kena tahu the basic of the note.
BC EF
- lain lain punya note ada # or b dia.
- cuma antara note BC dan EF jer tak der note diantaranya.
- So there are no B# or Cb, and E# or Fb.
- If ada ada satu note antara A dan B contohnya. kita boleh bagi nama dia A# sebab note tu lebih sharp dar A. Atau Bb sebab note tu adalah flat skit dari note B.
- So Note antara A dan B = A#/Bb.
- tak perlu hafal.
- Paling penting adalah carik macam mana nak naming the note.
- macam chord juga, sampai satu masa, bila kita faham macam mana nak naming the chord, kita dah boleh perform the chord kat mana jua fret.
Teori Langkah 2 tali dan langkah 2 fret = note sama.
1. kita berpandukan string no 6 E atau 5 A kat sini. Tapi bagi contoh ne aku start dari string 6E
2. Kita kena tahu and faham dulu semua note kat string 6. Start dari open E note sampai fret 12 = E octave seterusnya.
3. korang kena ada fret guitar baru senang nak nampak.
Contoh pertama.
Note A.
- Kita tau, fret 5 string 6 adalah note A.
- mean lompat 2 tali kebawah, dan lompat 2 fret kedalam kita akan jumpa the same A note. pada fret 7 dan string 4.
- so if u tahu semua note kat string 6, otamatic u ill know all the note pada string 4.
- Sama juga jika kalo u faham dan tahu note pada string5, mean u akan tahu semua note pada string 3.
- finally, kalo u hafal note pada string 5 dan 6, so u dah cover the whole note utk string 3,4,5 dan 6 sebenarnya.
Untuk string 2 nyer note kita ada Teori Langkah 2 tali dan langkah 3 fret = note sama.
- sebab semua pun tahu kita tuning note pada string 2 = Bb adalah kurang semi tone dari sepatutnya.
Tali 1.
- Tali 1 dah tentu sama dengan tali 6 daaaaaa.

nah lebih kurang cam ne picture dia.

- dan scale pun kita tak hafal semua note, but we remember the pattern.
- When u belajar naming the note, then naming the chord, then naming the scale, So tak perlu force the brain to hafal the whole thing.
- Smart study, never never never hafal kecuali it is a pic memory thing. Always ask HOW n WHY.
- Sentiasa tanya why kalo jumpa even satu chord Am sekalipun, then bila u dah tau How, u akan faham semua chord minor yg lain.
- I know kita punya sistem pendidikan sekolah rendah dan menengah still force u tu hafal. Very critical.

kalau nak ingatkan semua note dalam 22 atau 24 fret dalam satu fretboard atau fingerboard mungkin susah jadi, bahagikan fretboard itu kepada tiga bahagian dan hafalkan satu bahagian dulu sebelum pergi ke bahagian kedua dan ketiga. kemudian sebagai exercise, kita finger tiap-tiap note 'A' di fretboard daripada fret no.1 sehingga ke fret no. 24, kemudian A# dan seterusnya sampai tiap-tiap finger position. cara ini mungkin 'laborious' tapi saya gerenti, anda akan hafal seluruh fretboard setelah tamat latihan dengan cara ini.

- aha betul betul, aku dah post baru perasan, tak sempat nak edit balik sb ada discustion plak.
- jangan risau, tu vektor graphic tu, senang jer nak terbalikkan.
Sooooory.
Sebenarnya ada satu cara lagi utk ingat note kat fret board. Tapi ne adalah utk orang orang yg biasa dah perform chord. tapi lembab skit bila ditanya single note kat fret board.
Ingat shape chord dan tau mana satu root note dia.
- nanti lah bagi tau cam mana...

yep main lama2 bole ingat la tu..
aku rasa tak penting pun nak kena hafal terror sampai boleh instantly teka note apa.. tapi kalau ada general idea where the note is then it should be pretty good already..
kalau boleh belajar lah fundamentals of music
1)major/minor/modes - diff type of scales
2)chords/note relationship - how the combination of few notes results in unifying sounds called chords
after that alot of things will be clear cos most of them are based on this anyway.... 
really wished some one could have taught me this when i was starting out w guitar ..

Tul la, bila dah selalu main, belajar banyak basic lain scale, mode, chord dan music nyer logik la. tetiba jer tau kat fret tu not aper.
Aku ada sorang kawan baru nak belajar petik guitar. Selalu tanya aku chord itu dan ini. Pastu diorang tanya cam mana boleh ingat chord. Nak hafal kaaa. Aku kat tak perlu hafal. tapi belajar how to build the chord dengan nama dia lebih senang. Bila nak tunjuk tu la tak lepas sebab banyak bassic thing kawan ne lom dapat lagi.
Last, aku suruh hafal juga la the basic chord supaya dia biasa dengan shape chord dulu, cam biasa Am E, G, C, semua keluaga key C or G. So dia boleh layan jadi lagu.
Bila dah hafal the shape, baru leh terangkan pasal moveable chord.
Tapi, aku pun belasah juga sebenarnya. Suka sangat aku tengok togey, togey ketiauw goreng la sebenarnya. hahhahaha.
