hmm the darker side of everlasting tales.
Sound wise has improved alot from the last time.
The vocals sounds very Gore Vox like. was it intended? or you guys are changing to a different genre to make it sound more deathmetal/thrash/Gore.. i am confused. sometimes it even sounds progressive
a bit of a rock kapak essence to it.
Overall, it sounds so much better than the last ET. you guys have grown up and got even darker.
cuma... is it the sound or the guitar just sounds abit out of tune.

dont compare this song with everlasting tales lah..
lagu ni xde kena mengena dengan everlasting tales.. konsep pun jauh berbeza.. cuma aku sbg 2nd guitarist everlasting tales dan Lee plak saja aku undang utk sumbang solo setelah aku kering idea nk solo.. tu je kot kaitan dgn everlasting tales rasanya.. just a little bit lah..hehe..
ET dh rekod 2 lagu yg lebih ummphh sound rakamannya.. tggu hari je nanti kami rilis sesuatu..
back to the topic..
bila sebut "the darker side of everlasting tales" ni aku setuju gak lah sbb setiap line up ET ni kepala lain2.. ni aku nye citarasa lah.. walaupun macam2 genre aku dengar tapi aku rasa selesa dgn metal jenis growl nih.. hehe.. cuma aku macam dh terlajak rekod dan tertinggal beberapa step yg boleh sedapkan lagi sound rekoding.. maybe nanti aku xwat apa2 aku rekod lain dgn lebih proper lagu2 aku nih..
darker side... hmmm..

hi stone,
meh aku komen pulak.
composition wise, ada banyak unsur grind, brutal death, oldschool thrash dan black sikit2. drumming ok, tak nampak loop sangat. bass aku x berapa dengar, mungkin ada kot. riffing paling menonjol, ada flow dan secukup rasa.. vocal apakan daya, brutal!!
sound wise, agak teroverload sikit bunyi gitar. tapi masih acceptable. try bawak live tengok, sure headbanging!

bass aku nk kena cari betol2 punya bass la nampak gaya nya..
ni aku guna gitar je nih plus effect bunyi mcm2 bass dlm zoom G2.1u..
sound gitar tu aku dh dpt komen dr beberapa org.. so pasni dh tau cara terbaik utk rekod gitar..
live???
yup memang hajat dihati akan cari line up dlm pertengahan tahun ni..
maybe selepas siap 5-7 lagu..
dh lama xjadi frontman nih.. hehe..
p/s - ada suggestion utk nama band x?

drum tu camne nk kasi dengar clear sume komponen nya ek? kadang masa grind tu snare kejap timbul kejap tenggelam.. aku tak tau nape sbb aku baru lg bab rekoding nih.. tolong ajar skit..
gitar tu loose kat mana ek? kasitau je aku xmarah.. kasitau durasi berapa ke berapa... senang aku nk kaji.. klu part harmoni last solo tu aku dh tau nape jd camtu.. sbb wave dia terlalu besar kerana level volume aku tinggi masa rekod tu.. err, kwn aku yg solo tu.. aku dh xde idea nk solo.. hehe..

Aku rasa dah ok dah ni... I think it sounds almost like Nasum in way. But I agree with Eryl that the drums need to be brought up in the mix. the snare is also a buried in the mix.
For the snare i think you need to compress the hell out of it to make it pop out.
For the kickdrum, try boosting the kickdrum at 80hz with a narrow to medium Q, scoop the mids out and boost around 5000hz.

saya nk cakap..dh lame benar saya tk dgr lagu camni sejak abg ku masuk ke arena perkahwinan.!! gempak giler..
ade lah perasaan macam nk henjut riff2 gitar tu bile dgr..
drum!! bro kasi lagi okay ckettt je..vokal..orait dh..kalo live..perghh..soram ni..saya adalah tidak pandai mengkomen pasal seting2 ke ape ke..sound ke ape ke kn..tapi..lagu adalah seronok dan best.
akher kata ..lagu adalah best.tapi musti bley di BEST kn lagi.
mesti susah nk buat lagu camni kn..

ok bro, drum akan saya ejas kasi cun sebab saya rasa nk rilis demo tengah tahun ni..
so, saya nk bikin bunyi power skit lah..
ada kwn2 dok ajar setting walaupun saya ni dungu skit bab setting2 nih..
tapi saya akan perbaiki lagi mutu bunyian dalam lagu2 saya..
