Ibanez J-Custom - Plays like a dream!! tried a second hand one down Denmark St. yesterday......ian i thought i hated Ibanez guitars...well not this one...

Yeah the it is nice isn't it??? Aww man...actually I just discovered these J-Customs. I always knew there were USA Customs. Apparently now USA Custom Ibanez no longer exists, and now they are made in Japan.
No wonder the designs are really off the wall. This is the one I saw in the shop going secondhand. The blue one. Slightly different than the ones above as it has an HSH configuration instead of just 2 humbuckers. I dont want to get a Prestige, because eventhough the pickups on Prestige Ibanez guitars are Dimarzio IBZ, they no match for the lovely Dimarzio Air Norton, Blue Velvet and Tone Zone pickups in the J-Custom.
this is the one I saw in the shop on Saturday. The Blue one.

I'm just too stunned to say anything intelligent... 
If I can get the maple fingerboard one to have the H/S/H pickup configuration, then you got the Bode Custom Guitar! (Oh yes, terlupa pulak pickguard...yep kena ada pickguard...kalau tak der rasa macam ikan goreng tak ader sambal...walaupun takder function sangat, tapi penting untuk aku!)  |

o ye ke? aku pulak sangat tak suka gitar ade pickguard! hahhaha.. rasa mcm tak metal lak ade pickguard nih!

cisss... buat malu je ko ni zid. aku baru je nak umum aku dah angkat gitar baru.
mana boleh buang pickguard. bak kata Bode, macam ikan goreng tak ader sambal
nanti aku pinjam kamera digital intan & rid posing maut ngan gitar aku lak. mana boleh biar ko sorang je zid!

semalam aku baru tengok + test gitar SX si Pali nih...
dia merupakan clone Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, carved top with 2 classic humbuckers...
Finishing dia sangat kemas, maybe ade sikit flaw kat neck bindings (tapi tak perasan pon)...
Inlays dia nampak cam original Gibson punya (tak sure la pearl / abalone)...
Quality pemasangan sangat bagus (nut, tuner, bindings, etc)...
For RM 700, i rather buy this shit than Epiphone!!
sound wise, hehe aku tak geti nak elaborate.... tapi aku main rasa cam best jek! heheh...
