hi guys ... this is my new custom handmade guitar from england, building is in progress ... it is weight relieved top quality solid mahogany backed with 5A quilted maple top, re-inforced maple neck with brazilian rosewood 22 fret fingerboard, pick-ups are from bare knuckles and the finish colour shall be midnight blue. there will be some pearl inlays as markers on the fingerboard as part of the finish with a fancy graphically designed phoenix head on the headstock and all gold hardware. can't wait for it to be completed ... in about six months from now ... comments are welcome ...

WARMOTH project 66% done..!!
Hand-Rubbed Tung-oil finish..
grain kat neck timbul kaw-kaw..!
gonna drill the VOL,TONE & switch hole after the finish fully dried...
pic sebelum finish.. testing fitting the hardware.. ALL OK!

Sabar...Sabar... ini baru puting nya... belom lagi teteknya pak... 
tepakse drill/besarkan lobang machine head.. Tuning machine Planetwaves ni
saiz 10mm.. aku punye neck 8mm..
test dulu...
dan hasilnya...
sementara tunggu tung-oil aku kering aku buat shim utk Floyd Schaller ni.. nak bagi matching dengan radius neck..
geram betol kalau dapat OVERSIZE BRASS sustain blok ni.. ingat nak tempah kat machine shop la...
tengok beza dgn yg standard..KAW_KAW beb..!!

| sustain block baru tempah kat machine shop..EXACTLY 100% mcm dlm gambar.. Machine shop caj RM100.00 mahal giler..!! (tembaga harga dah naik... mat pet suke la..) 3-4 hari bole amek... |

Hofner 450s (60's) Restoration
(p/s: boys and girls, don't try this at home.. very not profesional way of restoration.. )
First, sejarah gitar ni beli dari forumer i-bands jugak lebih kurang 6 bulan lepas. Overall condition masa tu okla, cuma part neck kene 'adjust' skit dan byk part2 original yg hilang dan tak bleh guna lagi.
Lepas tu, kasi cabut neck. Nak tau body date guitar ni.
Below 'F' hole... 20 Oktober 1960... 433 Serial number???
Part2 yg compatible yg boleh guna kat gitar ni. Part original ada, tp harga... hehehe.. . Pakai part yg 'budget' dulu sbb nak tgk neck tu samada berjaya disambung semula atau tidak.
Dlm minggu lepas, baru bermula projek ni.
FFWD.....
Lepas restoration
Tunggu pickguard utk buat wiring pickup.
