another advance way is scale 'box method'.
advantage:
1. boleh buat latihan jari, tambah speed, tambah fluent, tambah konfiden alternate picking.
2. boleh hapal scale dan modes
you'll get theories and techniques in one go.. just go back and forth for like, two hours in two - three days, you'll master it..
google it, or better, youtube it.. (bile pulak 'google' ngan 'youtube' ni jadik verb ek?) |

The simplest way is to play the scale 3 note on each string and use 4 Fret only(sometime 2 note and 5 fret). Play up and down...
Then take out middle note / take out note that dont have space..
