Thanks for checking out guys.
Radioflyer, memang ada unsur-unsur dalam laut pun. Nama pun 'fish'.. hehe.. Actually, ni bukan conteng suke2 tau... It's the artist's interpretation of my life and he successfully reduced it in an art form. The stock metallic satin silver body nampak boring giler, thus I decided to make it unique and personal. Rather than just an instrument to create art, why can't the guitar be an art by itself?
Tu sume guna oil paint and not airbrush. And mainly his fingertips did the work, with minimal brushwork except for the final coat of polyurethane. Yang cunnye dia punya grains and uneven textures, far different from airbrush jobs. Macam painting betol2.... I like!
Dari gitar body ni pun aku sure korang boleh tau lebih kurang pasal hidup aku. Tajuk dia "Freedom and Duality" and this is what he described:
*double imagery
*fishes and wings
*the highway
*strive
Move forward
*fish in the tank analogy/ back fins as wings when split.
Anyway, jumlah kerugian SGD 100. Murah nak mampos! Yup, the artist is in Singapore. You can check his awesome artworks at http://blewraincoat.deviantart.com/
Highly recommended to anyone who wants "to get personal"! Ironically, the guitar is still in Singapore. I'm eagerly waiting for a friend of mine to bring it back home.
