Hi everyone, hope I'm posting in the right thread. 
Just writing to let all of you fellow musicians know about http://www.smeex.com! Yes I know you're like omg omg wtf. Ok neways.
Smeex.com is a VERY new Malaysian music community and resource portal website that just opened yesterday. In fact, its a site that me and a bunch of other friends and musicians started together, basically a place where musicians can chill, meet new people and 'search' (using a form) for other musicians who are part of the ever-growing community. The site is also a resource portal where musicians can find music-related resources like downloads, software, recording equipment, and lots more (band name generator? lol). The site is still very new, and still in the beginning stages, which is why we need your support!
I know many are wondering, "why la make another community? Jamtank kan dah ada? Nak compete ke ni?". The reason to that is simply because Malaysia needs more places for musicians to promote their music and gain exposure. We Malaysian musicians (yes I'm a musician too myself) need a place to hang out, unite, share the passion together! Hence the idea of making Smeex came to mind: to collaborate with other music communities to take music in Malaysia to a much higher level. Smeex is not here to compete, but rather to compliment the music industry. Do give Smeex a chance grow and the possibilities are endless for you musicians out there!
