Bagi aku, cara paling senang nak paham mode is kena dgr lagu example. contoh lagu yg pakai dorian mode ialah lagu Oye comova by santana. chord progression lagu ni simple je...its Amin/Dmaj/Amin/Dmaj. so from this chord progression, we know that its rooted from G major scale...where the scale is Gmaj, Amin, Bmin, Cmaj, Dmaj, Emin, F#dim. from the scale kita dapat tgk the chord progression involves Amin dgn Dmaj...so this is obviously pakai A dorian mode.
anyway this is my 2 sen opinion..correct me if im wrong!
