Nak tanya laa..
Tadi aku sambung Toneport aku kt pc..pastu connect gitar..
tiba2 gitar aku mengalirkan arus eletrik...terkujat aku. keras sekejap.
Soalannya..Kenapa?
Camno nk buat ni...
Semalam elok je..

I had the same problem as you, to my toneport and XTLive. Aku guna PC guna UPS, lepas tu sambung to my Toneport. One day pzzztttt...
Anyway, aku syak ada leakage power through USB (terover power or whatever) thus transfer pegi gitar, tu yang kena letrik tu. Lepas tu aku tukar main soket tak pakai UPS, the problem gone. So aku suggest nko try soket dinding lain to connect your PC-toneport.

Really? the PC could give such power leakage that goes through effects to the guitar?
i tot the guitar itself have grounding problem?

Aku pun pernah kena camni. Almost same setup, laptop>Toneport UX2/GT-8>guitar. Tak de lah electric shock sampai rambut cacak, tapi mcm 'stinging' sensation kat jari. Boleh rasa current mengalir. Sound gitar pun tak berapa clean, distorted lain mcm je.
Like Rixal said, try soket dinding yg lain. Kat umah aku, aku dah find out ada dua tiga soket dinding yg ada masalah grounding mcm ni.

i think evrybody which use USB interface will face this thing at least once~
in fact im also faced it a few times
aku rase ni la disadvantages pkai USB interface..semua bus powered..so if psu unit x stable bole kene directly kat kite..
