aku prefer addictive over ezdrummer coz in addictive u can EQ, apply compression, etc.. within the application itself. u have more control without having to route the output. sample-wise, i just like the drum samples in addictive better. the bundled beats also quite cool lah.
but aku still guna ezdrummer for the latin percussion samples.

normally aku mix the rest of the instruments in a way that the highs and lows is somewhat in the range of that of the dum mix. it can be the other way around.
i did most of my game background music this way and so far it sounds OK on TV and have not received any complains about the quality. so i assumed its fine
anyway, kena selalu cuba lah. there shouldn't be just one way to do things.
mine works for me.. it might work for u.
