High Speed Broadband (HSBB)
What is HSBB?
High Speed Broadband (HSBB) is a broadband service that offers bandwidth delivered at network speeds of 10Mbps and above when compared to normal broadband (Broadband to the General Population (BBGP)) which delivers bandwidth through wired and wireless technologies at network speeds ranging between 256Kbps and 4Mbps. Eventually in Malaysia, we will see basic HSBB packages offering network speeds between 20-50Mbps and up to 100 Mbps for consumers while businesses will have maximum network speeds available up to 1,000Mbps (1Gbps).

HSBB Technology Mix
HSBB delivered to consumers and businesses will be through a mix of
- Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH)*,

- Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line 2+ (ADSL2+)**** technologies.

Kesimpulan;
HSBB adalah service internet yang baru dengan kelajuan min 10Mbps sehingga ke 1,000 Mbps (1Gbps). Physical installation pertama telah dijalankan di TTDI pd 29/6/09. So orang2 di KL, S.alam, Klang akan merasa dulu nikmat download vst, sampler even porno dengan kelajuan super.

ISP punye connection stable ker tak?
tak der bottleneck ker..
nanti kuar plak statement fair usage policy...

Fyi, HSBB xsama dengan sistem Screamyx.
1mb skang ni sbb base on telephone sistem, PSTN.mksudnya teknologi copper.so not so stable.Speed 1024, tp sampai ke rumah kurang dr tu.Byk loss (distance + kualiti kabel)
Compare to HSBB, core sistem guna NGN (Next Gen Network).mksudnya fully IP & Fiber.
Connection internet ke rumah pon nanti guna kabel fiber.(Fiber to the Home)
Ni salah satu equipment utk HSBB.

bro...
maybe aku tak klear..
maksud aku connection dari ISP ke rumah memang la patut improve..
tapi camne dengan connection ISP tu sendiri ke internet...
teknologi copper dapat tampung 8MB klu tak silap..
distance+kualiti cable tu bagi aku alasan jer...
setiap kawasan perumahan ader box agihan..
loss patut tak banyak..
klu tak silap.. voice connectivity lagi makan banyak bandwith..
kalau cable dah oxidise... tak leh buat ape la..
takkan semua tempat prob kot..
tempat2 baru yang pakai fibre base conn pun
sekali sekala tak stabil gak..
klu equipment tak pandai jaga... hancurla..
bli la router berapa ratus ribu pun..

Aku pn bukan pakar. Kalau screamyx kt rumah cam kura2,jgn tanye / marah aku.Just share je.
Nowadays dah byk option.P1 ada, DIgi ada, maxis celcom pon ada. Mana rase ok, pilih je.

btw /k/ army dah dibubarkan..
aku bukan flame/marah laa... aku nak share jer...
mak aku suruh kongsi2 pengetahuan.. jgn kedekut.. LOL..
equipment tu bukan aku refer kat modem cikai yang di distribute kat user..
aku refer kat ISP punye core equipment/machine.

betul ke selaju nih? kdg2 tu hanya angka jer... tp hakikatnya, susah nak selaju 10mbps.. sebab bnyk persaingan.... selalunya, connection laju time org tgh tidur... saya slalu on9 kalo mau download, terpaksa on9 pkul 3am....
