| nak tanya otai2 kat sini ni.....aku nak cari pickup untuk guitar aku....n aku dah bekenan kat sd blackout ni....tapi kata orang la kan....sd ni kalu masuk kat body basswood tak sedap....betul ka....ble bagi penerangan cikit tak?dah tu apa suggestion korang pickup yang sesuai untuk body guitar basswood ni....pickup apa yang sesuai bla di masukkan ke body gitar aku nih? |

erm...rasanya too general soalan nie.....x sedap tue cmne?sustain kurang?vibrato xde?bla2...aku rasa ok je kalo basswood+seymour duncan.maybe nak dpt sound berat agak ssh skit kot....(opinion aku la).....its all about the sound...what type of sound u want to produce?kalo terangkan maybe lps nie ada org lain bleh tolong..  |

aku rs kalo ko dh sk kt SD, trs kn jer,
sbb lg byk ko compare, lg png pale d buat nyer,
kalo aku, aper pu pown ader spesel dia,
yg ini sound dia cam ni, best gak
yg itu sound dia cam tu, best gak
even PU Falcon / vantage pown best pd aku,
so, slagi sound dia kta suka, then carry on,
kecuali kalo mampu collect byk2 gtr, br bley rs mcm2,
psl tu la ader colector tu smpn Fender smpai 6~7 bj fender
57,62,70s,72,80s & blablabla,
itu la sbb2 nyer tu,
tp.mst aderr yg bley explen ngan lbh spesifik lg ar

bg aku,kalo nak dpt setting cm video tue bkn depends on guitar n pickups semata2...kene tgk hardware lain yg ko guna..amp apa?effect bla2... |

soalan cepu emas nih..hahaha,, bagi pendapat aku, ko takleh tgk satu aspek je,,. sebab kat utube to dia rakam pakai amp.. amp pon ko kene tgk gak.. dia pakai amp peavey 112 ultra tube, kalau ko pakai amp marshall or sx (cth).. camner ko nak dapat bunyi sama..mesti bunyi dia lain,.. hahaha gitar pon kene tgk jugak... tapi ko bleh tiru sound dia based on barang yg ko ada..

Pada gua,
basswood ne satu tonewood yg paling flat dia punya freq graft.
- maksud gua, kalo mohagany terkenal dengan heavy bottom tone, Ash terkenal dengan bright top tone.
- manakala alder berada lebih tengah antara keduanya.
- kira basswood ne hampir dengan alder.
- Tapi alder ada mid freq yg lebih bagus berbanding basswood.
- So aku selalu ketegorikan basswood ne tak bassy dan not too bright tapi still flat mid.
- generally yaa, Ne yg aku katakan flat tonewood.
- Kena ingat basswood gred tinggi bunyi sedap ooo.
So,
Tone dari basswood ne cepat terpengaruh dengan aper electronik dan hardware yg kita install.
- kalo guna pickup banyak bass, maka bassy la bunyi basswood tu.
- kalo guna pickup lebih mid, maka mid la bunyi tonewood nya.
- gitu juga dengan kalo pickup bright.
- Ia tak bermaksud basswood ne memilih pickup.
- basswood adalah tone wood palig mesra pickup, mean aper ajer pickup masuk ia akan jadi seperti mana frerq respone pickup tersebut.
- Kebanyakan astist dengan guitar basswood ne, ada signature pickupnya tersendiri.
- Disebabkan tone nya yg agak flat mendatar, maka lebih mudah nak shape balik ikut kemahuan artist tersebut.
Berbeza dengan tone wood heavy tone macam mohagany pula.
- ia memerlukan pickup yg boleh add more bright,
- utk kasih ballance tone asal yg dah very heavy.
- Duncan JB kena kat mohagany, akan jadi sangat balance, sebab JB respone more to high freq, membantu ballance balik tone mohagany yg sangat heavy.
- Tapi JB kat basswood maybe kita dapati terlebih high.
- Walo bagaimanapun ia terpulang kepada taste masing2.
- Kalo u wanna the terlebih high nyer tone, hantam saja labu.
Gitu juga kalo tonewood bridge + i piece maple or ebony fretboard.
- Oleh kerana akusticly tone wood nya agak bright.
- So ada baiknya pilih pickup yg ada more bass freq respone.
EMG81.
- memmang mempunyai bass yg tight.
- Sebabnya asal rekaan EMG81 adalah utk guitar dengan body mohagany heavy tone.
- aku stuju, blackout ada more bass respone berbanding EMG81.
- EMG85 pula ada more bass berbanding black out pada bridge position.
- Tapi yg sedap sebenarnya EMG81 ne adalah pada neck position utk guitar yg a bit bright tone.
- emg60 neck lebih antara yg terbaik, tak bleh elak.
Pickup macam PAF pula, lebih mendatar EQ nya.
- PAF origanal yaa, bukan PAF pro dan sebagainya.
- Boleh dikatakan the basic sounding utk humbuker.
- mean pickup cam ne takan add mana mana freq.
- tak der terlebih bass, or mid or high.
- So pickup sebegini, need a a good akustic tone, dan ia sangat tranparent.
- letak kat mohagany, maka heavy la tone nya.
- letakkan alder maka, mid bright la tonenya.
Guna jer pickup wizard kat dimarzio or duncan.
- tapi kengkadang tak berapa nak bagus sangat pickup pilihannya.
- hehheheh.
- the idea dah ada kat situ.

oo macam tu ek....best betul la baca penerangan dari bro ultraman cosmo....wa respect sama lu la hehe....pasal apa amp dia pakai tu aku tau....tapi apa yang aku nak gtau ialah body gitar tu actually yang mempengaruhi bunyi yang terhasil dari pickup tu....kalu kta plug in kat mana2 amp any gadget pun kalu bnda tu effect dari body aku rasa tak boleh nak dapat gak bunyi maksimum dari pick up nya....ni 1 lagi video aku nak korang tengok.....first guitar jackson flying v body alder....ni yang paling hampir dengan basswood la aku dapat pastu guitar schecter mahagony....2 2 gitar ni guna blackout....tapi aku rasa bunyi dari mahagony memang power lagi dari alder la
