last week aku ada test ibanez prestige.rasanya tension pada tali sgt2 la rendah(senang nak main)..bila main china punya ada rasa cm tinggi skit la talinya...maybe kalo beli kene set intonation etc kot?

mostly kalo neck bengkok,kita xkan dpt note yg btol(sumbang).bila kita tekan not kat fret yg bengkok,maybe bunyi not tue flat or sharp...ia x tepat..kalo bending pon mcm ssh nak sampai.  |

tPi aku ade ibanez gak ibanez SG.. woo.. ini dah lari dari konsep ibanez, tapi best ah gitar ni.. 
basically aku xsuke ibanez, ntah la haha tapi bab ibanez SG ni aku suke, sbb dia copy gibson SG punye.. yeyehh!!! |

Pada pndapat saya, sebagai pengguna Ibanez, ianya bgantung pada originality & series sesebuah gitar, n bukanlah tempat dimana ia dibuat...
Originality., skrg berlambak fake JEM series yg dibuat oleh China. utk pgetahuan, JEM series hanya dibuat oleh Ibanez Japan jer...
ni cthnye.. dapat bezakan tak? tgk je tone knob & vol knob..JEm mane ada pakai gold hrdware kat knob... and tgk kat monkey grip JEM series,kalo fake, gerenti ukirannya xhalus....tak berbaloi beli sebab tak ori. xda feel...
Series. bagi saya, worth atau tak tu, tgk series jgak... mcm kalo Prestige series ni, dibuat oleh luthier (tukang gtr) berpengalaman Jepun... buatan mmg halus, bkualiti tnggi ... Kalo GIO series ni, ada kureng skit sebab gio ni target utk gtarist beginner.. jd kurang skit kualiti utk save production cost.. low quality wood, low quality parts,frets... .. GIO tetap ori walaupun dibuat di China/indonesia...
Kesimpulannya, up to the originality & series... kalo dapat prestige, mmg la brbaloi...  yg penting, jgn ambil fake guitar

"Hello,
I have seem so many people selling their Ibanez guitars without giving basic information, such as serial number, origin, year (which you can tell by serial number). I have over 30 Ibanez guitars, all Made in Japan, my father used to own a music store, I grew up in the music store, I have seem and play pretty much all kinds of guitars. Ibanez remains my favorite, and I know them very well. Here I am going to explain in my limited knowledge of all the authentic Ibanez manufacturers in the world.
Made in Japan
Japanese made Ibanez remains the highest build quality, no dount, if you want a true Ibanez, get a Made in Japan one. In recent years, Ibanez has shifted some major models to countries like South Korea, Indonesia, or even China, but all the high-end series are still made in Japan, such as JEM, JS, PGM, RG Prestige, S Prestige...and so on.
Made in Korea
Ibanez has manufacturer in Korea for a long time, it helped Ibanez to manufacture some lower class Ibanez guitars, like RG270, RG350DX, RG370, JEM555....supply to US, China... they use pretty much the same meterial in body and neck, but pickups and hardware are completely different, the only similarity is they all have "Ibanez" written on it. They have developed their own pickups, called NF1, NF2....sounds really similar to V7, V8, but V7 & V8 sounds fuller, stable, settle, and full mid-range, NF1 & NF2 are weak at mid-range. In term of build quality, it's nowhere near the Japanese. But for the price you are paying, Made in Korea Ibanez guitars are acceptable, Ibanez might has quality control in Korea. Anyway, to sum up, if you can't afford a MIJ, MIK is the only way to go, but remember you are not getting a true Ibanez (Personally, I think Korean made Ibanez bass are much better, like the EDB, EDA series). I really think that if you can't afford a MIJ, buy something else.
Made in Indonesia
Indoesia manfacturer is pretty new, function pretty much like the Korean manufacturer, to supply mostly in Europe and US. Quality is even lower than Korean made, and of course, with a even lower price tag. But make no mistake, what ever money you spent on a made in Indonesia Ibanez will be all gone by the time you walk out the music store. Again, if you can't afford a Made in Japan Ibanez, get something else.
Made in China
This is actually the reason I am writing this review. First of all, I want to be cleared, Made in China Ibanez are worthless, but the point is don't complain about the "Fake JEM', because there isn't any. Technically, Ibanez does have authentic manufacturer in China. I heard so many people complain that the Chinese are selling "fake JEM" on eBay....and so on....ok..stop complaining! Come on, do you really think you can get a JEM for $200? You can't even buy the name. When you are looking for guitars to buy, be realistic! Ask for more information, serial number can tell you what year of production, basically you want something made before 2001, because in before that, even the RG350s are Made in Japan, I have one, the quality is like RG450, very nicely crafted.

ade sebijik Jem series buatan korea Jem555... pernah guna?.. aku pernah guna kejap.. ini guitar high end punya spec walaupun korea made.. ade setengah japan made pun tak sesedap Jem555.. dulu harga dia rm2700.. sekang nih rm4500.. tak cukup high end lagi kalo dah rm4500 kekekekek..

info nih satu ketika dulu tepat.. tapi sekang tak berape tepat dah.. biasa la masa berubah berubah.. peminat fanatik ibanez maybe tau kebanyakan highend S series nye dah tak dibuat di Jepun semua nye korea.. contoh guitar dlm pic nih S2170 series antara S paling mahal dlm family ibanez.. aku rasa ramai yg ingat Japan made sebab harga nye mahal.. actually buatan korea.. brand new $1149 usd = rm4000. kalo kat bently tak dpt 4000 aku rasa.. mau cecah rm5000. ntah tatau..

kayu lain lain w/pun series yg sama..
yg kayu kekuningan = body mahogany, top figured poplar
yg kayu gelap sikit = body mahogany, top figured bubinga
yg kelabu = body mahogany, top figured ebony..
jem555 pakai body basswood, hard maple neck, edge bridge, pickup sama dgn japan spec.. semua dimarzio evolution..
jem7vw pakai alder body, walnut neck, low pro edge bridge, evolution pickups
jem jr - ini bleh abaikan low quality.. baik beli RG350DX..
