Hello ppl. After good LONGGGG break of raya, now we're all back in our geeky mode.
Aku nak tanya2 sket... ada member aku ni nak beli acoustic guitar n she prefers Yamaha n her budget is around rm200-300 . Dia ingat aku terer bab beli2 gitar ni padahal aku pon main kapok rm50 jer! So in order to nak tunjuk terer, boleh tak korang kasik pointers n guidance sket on what to look for n kalo ada antara korang yg ada experience ngan yamaha acoustic, that wud be even better! Mungkin korang leh suggest model apa dlm price range tu (coz aku rasa ada a few diff models)
Kalo ada brand lain yg korang leh rekemen pon ok gak... sbb dulu aku penah main hofma (yg member aku kata around rm200++) n it sounded great. Dan aku jugak penah main ibanez yg harganya around rm400++ but it doesnt sound too good... to my liking at least)

gitar akustik aku best tapi harga dlm RM800... hua hua hua.. aku pernah main cousin aku punya acoustic harga RM200++ tapi tak sedap...

mak aih rm800! mmg ler sedap! ahahaha! Tu ler, aku ada test gitar yg rega dlm rm200 ni, rasanya kapok rm50 aku lagi sedap bunyi. Aku ingat aku belasah je lah beli model apa pun... 
Zid, gitar ko tu brand apa dan model apa?

itu hari aku dengar member ni main guitar semi akustik harga around RM300. dia beli kat bentley. Aku taktau sangat pasal guitar but dari apa aku dengar. bunyi dia sungguh bagus for that price since aku pun ada semi (same price) yg mana langsung jauh lebih teruk sound dia daripada mamat tu punya. So aku cuma based on that perbandingan sajalah.
Aku tak ingat apa nama brand dia but if u go to bentley and ask for semi yg range harga camtu.. aku rasa ko leh jumpa kot.

Gitar aku tu semi-akustik, boleh plug-in ke amp... brand ELITE (korean made)... brand dia tak le sehebat Ovation, Taylor, etc tapi harga boleh tahan mahal gak tuh! nak buat camne, itu je lefthand akustik yg available. (pic shown in the middle)
oh yeah.. body belakang dia shape mcm Ovation, made out of fibre... gitar akustik cousin aku yg aku test tu berat sikit, aku rasa material dia bukan fibre kot, that's why it's a bit heavy n tak sedap (ye ke)...

aku ade Washburn.
D10s. . . RM600. . .
voted for be budget guitar...muahaha...
other than that aku recomend yamaha lar. .
beware ade yamaha acoustic . . made out of plywood. . .(forgot the model number  )
Bentley ade Fender acoustic at RM500 i think maybe worth checking out...(i've never tested)
check out info about the woods use. They make a hell lot of difference and worth the extra bucks. .
Kalau tak cukup duit. . . simpan dulu . .

Ajeep - Semi acoustic bunyik cam best le plak! Nanti aku cucuk dia suh beli semi.. hehehe. Leh tak ko confirm brand dan model apa? Ko nyer gitar brand apa?
Zid - Aku pun skarang dah bukak mata ngan brand2 korean made ni... tapi tak tahu ler kalo dia minat ke tak. Baru aku prasan ko ni lefty... Ganah btol bc rich ko tu!
Okta - Aku rasa salah satu yamaha yg aku test tu made of plywood kot coz satu mcm nyer ringan dan 'plasticky'. Camana nak make sure? Mmg original yamaha ke tu?
Budget is fixed around rm200-300... so susah nak go over that.
Sapa2 lagi yg leh tolong... takkan takde langsung geng i-bands yg pakai yamaha?

kalau budget...senang jer. . .
go out test all the guitar u can. . .
make sure u test as much guitar as u can. . .
buy the one u like most. . . brand doesn't matter much i guess . . .
for me . . . sometimes i need comparison to decide . . .
plywood. . . is processed wood i believe. . . layered. . . so by sometime i'll peel of. . .
how to know? i would read the specs surf net.(if the brand is available)

yeah I agree with okta. I think it's better to try as many as u can. sometimes what's good to others might not be the one you like.
aku punya jenama "Genta" aku beli kat indon. Made locally in indon if I'm not mistaken. Semi tapi neck & headstock macam electric guitar. Bunyi dia tak berapa sedap maybe pasal tong dia kecik. But aku suka bentuk dia heheh.

Aku pun ingat mmg aku kena test as much guitar as i can. Tapi bukan senang nak cari kedai yg friendly dan ada byk choice kat area aku ni...
Anyway, thx a lot for the pointers friends... arap2 aku x tersilap beli..

hehe count me in!! ada rupa, ada gaya.. baru ganaszz...!
Tapi budget RM 200 tu mcm tak cukup utk dapat gitar yg best sikit .. sbb even gitar kapok pon almost RM100 kan?? Ko try la test brand Elite nih kat Guitar Collection (kat Sunway Pyramid ada satu branch... kat situ la aku beli gitar aku)... mana tau ada range yg murah tapi sedap...

Jangan beli kapuk lagi. Even though its a tradition kat msia all budding guitarist must own one. 
Gi kat chambers music, sg. wang plaza. Last time i saw brands like TGM, Craftsman, JD. Design semua lawa-lawa. Sound ok la for the budget. But all under RM150. Kapuk pun ada kat situ, cuba compare. |
