Tipu punya... dunlop....
Aku research and found out True hard-wire bypass is worst than buffer and true bypass.
1. True bypass = input connect to output, nothing else connected to them.
2. Buffer bypass = electronic fet switching, very little tone loss if good buffer.
3. True hard-wire bypass = input connect to output direct, and also connected to effect board, causing earthing and impedance loss, aka tonesucking.
Semua dunlop pedal ni tipu. No buffer but tipu kita dia ini bypass betul tapi dia connect dua location, direct to output jack dan to effect board.
Bazir duit beli wah pedal mahal when bypass mode suck your tone like hell.
Cheaper to buy vox v847 (buffer bypass), keep it as it is or modify to true bypass. Still better than dunlop crybaby in bypass mode, no tonesucking. |

1. True bypass = input connect to output, nothing else connected to them.
- memang yg terbaik, tapi ada pro n con nya juga.
- kengkadang popping, terutamanya bila pedal to high gain, or power supply tak bagus, circuit led well design, kena +ve ground pedal, kengkadang tak sesuai utk delay.
- noise, jika tak design dan wiring dengan bagus.
2. Buffer bypass = electronic fet switching, very little tone loss if good buffer.
- yg ne biasanya ada pada boss pedal.
- kebaikannya ia silent, tone lost ada tapi tak banyak sangat.
- Sebenarnya ada banyak flip flip, bistable or monostable type switching.
- pedal banyak guna jfet sebabnya ia murah. berbanding cost guna ic macam cmos dan pic.
3. True hard-wire bypass = input connect to output direct, and also connected to effect board, causing earthing and impedance loss, aka tonesucking.
- contoh paling jelas adalah crybaby95.
- memang paling banyak tone drop, sebab signal dah bahagi 2.
- separuh ker output jack and separuh ker first transister buffer.
- ada pembetulan yg bagus sebenarnya utk keadah ini.
- if u letak buffer before the wah, maybe u akan boleh kurangkan the tone lost.
- jika design tersebut di upgrade kepada buffering yg bagus, kadang kala ia sound supreb.
- KLON CENTUAR sebenarnya guna keadah switching sebegini, tapi dengan design dan caculation yg bagus, sound bypassnya sangat bagus.
Cth clone nyer switching
> input > good buffer then baru bahagi 2.
- Satu cabang ker output and 1 lagi baru masuk effect.
- keadah ne lebih baik sebab buffer akan tukar impendency signal supaya tak terlalu banyak lostnya.
Ada banyak lagi bypass sebenarnya,
- myabe look for milinium bypass,
- darlington bypass.
- flip flop, cmos, Dmos, dan macam macam lagi.
- Yg penting adalah, mana satu yg sesuai utk audio.
- Ada switching sesuai utk power supply tapi tak sesuai utk audio.
- ada yg lebih sesuai utk video or data bit.
- Aku rasa benda ne amat mencabar, walopun aku memang dah biasa buat pedal pedal.
- kadang kala, aku pun tak berminat nak terang detailnya, sebab tak nak musician jadi too technikal, let diorang fikirkan pasal how diorang buat lagu yg indah, dan biarkan the technikal person yg runsingkan pekara switching ne... hahhahahaha.

aku sebenarnya dulu ada kumpul2 sket info dari dalam forum ni (n several other forum. secene kita kecik je, pusing2 user yg sama gak hehe), dengan niat nak compile n bukukan.
aku taknak ia tenggelam dalam SPAM korang, dan jugak taknak ia hilang kalau apa2 jadik kat forum ni (tengok apa yang jadik kat forum sebelah@jamtank lama)....tapi, biar projek DIT tu jadik dululah ye baru kita pikir next project..hehe
