In Heavy tone it will sounds more clear and harder to control as it will be too clean

mid & treble tone has a major cut-through at any time...
Floating
the notation & tone seems not clear and you cant really hear the accuracy..
Heavy tone will sound big..
the mid & treble will sounds a bit fat...
the sustain is just enough & the string vibration not as much as fix bridge..
overall sound will not be clear as fix bridge & will sound muddy most of the time...
the good things about it, you would be happy to shred with it and not no worry if your playing is sloppy.. LOL.. (no offend)...
So in my opinion...
each bridge could produce heavy or bright tone, but it produce different sounding...
you should also respect those fix bridge players... coz its harder to play haha |
kira lebih kurang dah la.. that's why I said 'generally'..
bright tak betul2 boleh disamakan dengan treble, tapi pyscho-acoustically kita selalu tercakap camtu.. that's why ramai yang open up full tone knob (treble la..) pasai nak suruh bunyi clear.. but i prefer halfway.. depends on the quality or the thing la.. ada gak yg sama je bunyi nya..

Patut la pakai Floating nih susah nak kasi bunyik panjang2 ek....kejap2 je die dah muddy
patut la aku rase sedap je aku solo...upenye die bleh tutup keSloppyan aku ...isk isk
kene tukar fixed Bridge nih..

dia bkan byk masalah, cuma kena byk bersabar berbanding ngan fixed bridge. lgi2 time tukar string/tune..
lebih beriman la klu tukar floating nih  |
so kirenye yg tak pakai floating ni kire tak beriman la?gitu?ahahahaha

Hmm.. Bg aku, sustain mmg fixed bridge mng.. Lg pn sng tukar string & better tuning stability I guess..
Tp floating bridge yg sudah d set up baek pny, boleh sustain (enuf sustain coz u won't hold a note for all night long rite) dan ko ble main byk style..
Psal mau dpt sound heavy pkai thick pick 2 aku kurg stuju sb klu pkai pick around .60-1.0 mm, we can get that 'jerk jerk jerk' sound (I hope u guys know I mean  ).. esp if we use d right angle.. 0.60-0.80 definitely great for that (not for shredding tho,for an ayam like me )
Psal main floating bridge sb mau cover keayaman, 50/50 la.. Aku rs bnda mcm ni sgt subjektif.. X adil bg org yg mau pkai floating bridge coz they really love it rite..
p/s: 1. Laa aku bknnya panggil ko jerk!! Tu bunyi d pick scratch la..
2. Aku mmg pkai floating bridge sb mau cover keayaman pun..
