aku ade bace kat internet pasal hardware computer yg bagus utk recording... aku ingatkan slame nih nak soundcard yg bagus, space yg besar & pc yg laju... skali aku bace mcm2 jugak yg nak kena tukar ... hehe!!!
tapi aku tak paham skit function hardware2 nih kat recording ... sesape bley terangkan ka...
1. motherboard - 5@6 PCI slots... (for what??)
2. chipset - AMD@Intel ... (other brand?? aku skang pakai VIA chipset ... ape kesan kat recording??)
3. hard drive - SCSI, 7200 RPM speed .... (aku tak sure speed HD aku ... mcm mane nak check spec die??? hehe!!!)
satu lagi yg aku nak tau kan... penting gile ke utk pakai specs kat atas nih... pasal kalau nak tgk ape yg die mintak tuh kan... mau koyak poket aku... silap2 seluar skali barai abis... hahah!!! latest hardware yg aku beli ... Maya 44 MKII audio interface... aku angkat kat low yatt RM550 ... tapi tarak midi interface... kena beli connector die dlm RM200 ... siap ade digital/optical in bla bla bla .... hehe!!! tapi aku tak try lagi utk rec ...

MOBO that have more PCIs? errmm...for more connection?hehe....actually tak la penting sangat kecuali ko nak pakai more PCI device lar...itu jer...
i believe G3 ade 1 pci slot jer kan?(aku tak sure  )
VIA chipset. . .errmmm cutdown version of the actual chipset. . .ade lar kurang beberape spec. . . .aku pon tak sure...(kan ade banyak IT genius here?!?!?)
paling penting HDD speed. . . recomended paling teruk pon pakai 7200RPM. . .IDE connection. . .
Kalau nak best kan lagi.. . . pakai SATA RAID HDD. . . bole mencapai speed 10000RPM. . .SCSI is to expensive. . .
HDD is the most important tthing i guess...as it's the source for all ur stuff. . .if ur system read the data slowly. . . obviously the whole thing won't work with out any data rite?(work flow lambat.. . )
aku rasa ko bole cehck speed HDD ko kat website brand HDD ko tu. . .

hallu there..
aku setuju okta kata kelajuan ngan kapasiti penting..
lagi satu.. RAM.. aku rasa minimum.. 512mb
recomended 1gb baru best .. aku pakai battery nyer kit saja dah 200-300 mb ram dia pakai.. musiclab real guitar 290mb .. blom masuk host program ngan bass,piano aper2 lain..
kalo slot pci tu.. betul la.. banyak ntuk tambah card senang..
hdd ang bleh check brand pakai software benchmark .. ni aku pakai

ok... let say aku punye hd skang speed die 5400 RPM kan... so... kalau aku beli sebijik lagi hd yang speed die 7200 RPM... aku boleh pakai dua2 skali ka... then boleh ke aku dpt speed 7200 tuh...

the 7200RPM is the speed of the individual hdd itself. . if u beli baru punye...ur old one will still be 5400RPM. but u can install all your system files and ur audio files in ur 7200RPM to make it faster ...
i believe this will mostly improve ur track count(berape track of audio ko bole support...)
lagi cepat access time HDD ko ...lebih banyak track ko bole pakai tanpa and dropout. . .

bukan camtu la.. dia camni.. kalau hdd ang yang lama tu speed dia 5400 rpm.. pastu yang baru 7200 rpm .. dia detect yang lama.. sebab IDE memang camtu.. walaupun ang pakai 7200 / 10000 rpm dia detect mana paling rendah.. lain la ang pakai SATA ..tp.. correct me if i'm wrong.. ehehe :p

| kalau motherboard kau support HDD 7200 rpm tu. better jadikkan tu MASTER as in your C: drive. This is where all your system files and program files should be. and HDD 5400 rpm kau tu jadikkan la SLAVE where you keep all your other files (mp3s, documents files and such lah) and the backup drive. that's what i do with my old HDD anyway. and maybe all your recording files boleh letak kat MASTER tu. |

hey
i'm not familiar sangat ngan mainboard ni...  RM500 is quite a lot. . . 
Kalau aku. . .i'll look for motherboard with..
AMD board cost it's cheap and good . . .
SATA support....
USB and Firewire...
tah ape lagi...nanti aku kaji sikit aku tambah.. lol
probally grymlock and huzai tahu banyak lagi
