ok brother ,, gua dah dengar,... let me say sumthing,... i thinks your Boominess eq dah terlebih,.. memang kick takleh dengar,(ditengelami Boominess 100hz or les). ko cuba cutkan sket area 100hz or les... hah speaker untuk ko monitor jugak kena laa flat,.. sebab kat speaker aku nih Boominess dia dah terover,.. try to mix banyak kali..... bass ko dah cam octave rendah sangat,.. sebab eq tuh,...... masa mix tuh drum fl bleh multiout kah?,, cuba try multioutkan.. proses satu2 kick, snare, etc.

80hz - rumble of the bass
100hz - thump of the kick
200hz - bottom of the guitar
250hz - warmth of the vocal
350hz - bang of the snare
400hz - body of the bass
500hz - clang of the high hat
600hz - clang of the cymbals
800hz - ping of ride cymbal
1000hz - meat of the guitar
1200hz - body of the snare
1400hz - meat of the vocal
1600hz - snap of the kick/plectrum on guitar (attack)
2500hz - wires and snap of snare
3000hz - presence of the vocal
4000hz - ring of ride cymbal/top end of bass guitar
6000hz - sizzle of the high hat
7000hz - sizzle of the cymbals
8000hz - top end of the kick
9000hz - brightness on snare and cymbals
10000hz - brightness on vocal
12000hz - air on vocal
14000hz - air on cymbals

| nice info erylasia..sometimes these things are called frequency clashing..because kick drum and bass guitar do have the same frequency sometimes..in this case one is over-powering the other. |

rasanyer xpayah eq..terus pilih sound yg patut from preset or sound module yg ada..tapi kalau nak eq jugak, guna je eq mixer yg ada kat dlm program tu.. |

u can't really do a proper mix with only a headphones.
you'll loose the ambience of a room when u mix with headphones. |

Okta, boleh terang skit pasal freq masking ne. Aku kurang faham,
is it somthing like freq phasing.
Rate utk convert mp3 tu berapa aaaa. sebab kalo terlalu rendah biasanya akan kill beberapa frequency detail. macam bunyi angin, flute dan growl biasa hilang bila mp3 compress rate rendah sangat.
Tapi distortion guitar riff terlalu flat eq disebabkan banyak sangat high frequency... dah macam white noise dah aku dengar. bagi middle skit kat riff tu.

just like how the website explained.
kalau cam kick drum ngan bass guitar.
biasa lagu with double pedal kureng low bass die cos it will interfere with the bass guitar and might probally will cause the sound to be muddy. Maybe that's why they have very "clicky" sound for kick drums.
i think it got something to do with the phase cancellation.
correct me if i'm wrong
